I also had trouble with this during the first month post op. Could it be that time of the month? are you getting in all your fluids? maybe its all the protein shakes. All the toxins moving out of your system? i dont know for sure. just keep your face clean and it will get better soon.

Sounds normal to me. maybe the extreme temperatures are not so good right now. stick to room temperature stuff for a couple of days. warm tea is the best! the gurgles are normal. that gets better over time. it wont be unpleasant for all that long, i promise

I am 5 months out and enjoy a cocktail occasionally. but i think that 6 weeks out maybe a little early. besides, if i drink, i dont lose weight that day- so its not even worth it usually. my doc had told me to wait 6 months (i waited 4 months LOL). what did your doc tell you about it?

I take the gummies. i cant choke down the pills or chewables either. i figure- its better than nothing

I lost 10# on the 2 week pre op diet. Fear not, it WILL come off! You can do it!

i googled gastric plication and got all sort of hits including a forum like this one. im was sleeved and cant give anymore advice, im afraid. best of luck to ya!

try using a good shampoo and conditioner. i also try to avoid using any heat, dyes, etc on my hair. however i am 5 months out and shedding alot!

Many of us came online tonight to find many changes. especially in the chat room. Most of us are very unhappy with the new changes- we can no longer chat and read posts at the same time, the format is different and we can no longer private message. now we hear about upcoming changes to include "premium" membership? wth? Many of us have found invaluable support and advice from this site. we look forward to the daily interaction. however, i will not be paying for services on this site. I thought thats what all these ads are on here for. I, for one, am very upset about these changes that occurred without any notifications whatsoever. Please, reconsider these changes. why fix something that isnt broken? All of you who dont agree with these changes please hit "like" or post to show our solidarity. Havent we been thru enough already?! Sorry this turned out to be a rant, we are all upset right now.

i only live 4 hours from the border. thought about going to mexico for surgery since i was self pay. but there was no way i could have made even a 4 hour drive home. i would really think about this. doesnt sound like a good option to me. be careful with yourself.

I was sleeved December 26, 2012. Height: 5'5" SW: 244 CW: 200 Lost: 44 lbs I'm curious. I feel like my weight loss has been so slow. Maybe it will help to know how others weight loss is coming along. Btw I do have some preop and 3 mos postop pics in my gallery. See if you can tell a difference.

I am 4 1/2 mos post op and in the last two weeks ive been "shedding" a bit more- maybe 100 hairs a day. In addition to biotin I have been using the "Wen" hair care system. I think it has been helping.
