Lying about the surgery at work.... Please help!
Tink22-sleeve replied to anna eve's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I think the hernia or gallbladder excuses are the best ones. no need to explain the subsequent weight loss. no one will connect the dots. -
Breast lift only - how long should I wait?

I agree with mariamitani. Wait til you stabilize on your weight loss, or are done having babies. -

knee surgery before sleeve?
Tink22-sleeve replied to jennyfromthewood's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had 2 miniscus repairs and finally a total knee replacement (TKR) 3 years ago. At time of surgery i weighed 220. by the time i was sleeved 5 months ago i weighed 254. The rehab from the TKR was long and awful. since being sleeved i am down to 192 and my knee feels great! I am active and feeling great! Wish i would have gotten sleeved before the knee surgery. -

2months post op....down 42lbs! What are you eating?
Tink22-sleeve replied to dat_sweetmami's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
At 2 months out i was gradually introducing new foods into my diet. i never had any problems except with chicken (feels like a brick in my chest.). i avoid bread and pasta. take it slow and easy and pretty soon you'll be able to enjoy small amounts of just about anything. good luck! -
Good luck with your journey. it will be worth it. the sleeve is a wonderful tool. i think this site has a wealth of info that will help you along the way, as well as some really great people that dont mind answering any questions.

Great job on the weight loss! sorry about the stretch marks. i have heard that it is hereditary and not much you can do about it. thankfully they will fade over time. -

yes, the pre op diet is a drag. but it helps to shrink your liver so the surgeon has an easier time. You can do it!
