Hello All,

I am new to this bariatric weight loss thing. My surgery will be on November 25th, right before Thanksgiving. :o :angry:
Since I was a little girl I suffered with a heart condition. Over the years it worsened. Many years later, after marriage, 4 children and many meds later, I also now had to deal with a weight issue. I tried so many diets and programs but it didn't work. With a young family, no job, bad heart, and 330 lbs that I had to wear everyday, (along with other personal issues that happened) caused me to go into severe depression. I got help and gained strength in God, and now I have been fighting for my life. Oh yeah, I failed to mention that between the ages of 23-33, I had two strokes and a heart attack. I have lived longer than any doctor expected. I had my heart surgery last year in September, and on that end, I am doing so much better.Still have a few issues, but none like before. I went from going to the hospitals 4-5 times a year being admitted for at least a week each time, to not going to the hospitals at all. Can you say blessed?

it was my primary physician and my team of cardiologists that put the idea of weight loss surgery in my head. They really want me to continue on an upward journey. And after researching and lots of prayer, I will be having this surgery very soon.

Today was difficult, and I know this week will be difficult, because I am moving out of my house and into my mothers house in 3 days. Then still trying to maintain this liquid diet while prepping for thanksgiving, moving, and still having to prepare meals for my family. I know I can do it, but it is a shell shocker. So I am glad to have this site to help people like me. I will need tons of encouragement I'm sure. I am just getting it in my head that this is what I need. I have a million and 20+ questions lol.
