Surgery was Monday and I've still not had a bowel movement. I haven't been able to eat much so it doesn't really concern me but I'm Wondering how long it usually takes. When should I become concerned?

Twp hours ago i took a couple chewable gas x. An hour ago I got a bottled water (room temp) and added a little fruit punch mio flavoring to it and have been able to sip it without the pain. Fingers crossed! Hoping its the beginning of my better experience! -

I am having same problem. Sleeved 11/11. Chest under breastbone hurts when I inhale very deep and everything hurts going down too. -

I still haven't been able to stomach too much liquid so it's not really a big surprise that I'm not having any BM. My surgery was Mon and everything is still pretty much gagging me. Even water at this point seems to bubble back up. -

I've not seen anyone mention smart protein at complete nutrition. My dr referred me to use it because its so low in sugar and sodium. I mix it with 4 oz water and 4oz vanilla coconut milk and its awesome! -

I had my surgery 11/11/13 here in Arkansas and have nothing but admiration for the staff of the hospital. I have had bad issues with gas and nausea and am still working through them but am so optimistic about the next few weeks and the weight loss! I cannot wait to really start this journey back at work and in my normal routine. -

I think gas is my biggest enemy right now causing the nausea. Looking forward to it passing. Gas Meds aren't helping. -
I did suck only ice chips first day and had such bad nausea that they kept me drugged up and were going to make me stay another day. Now I wish I would've stayed longer on the IV because I can't stomach the Meds.

I had the sleeve Monday 11/11 and everything is making me nauseaus. I keep getting very painful hiccups and the pain Meds won't hardly go down for the nausea either. I've tried 4 different broths and sugar free jello and isopure. Isopure is almost instant gag reflex now. Waiting for the sun to shine again...

I have been using Smart protein by Complete Nutrition in Vanilla and mixing it with 4oz water and 4oz coconut milk and its wonderful. I haven't seen it mentioned here though?
