I'm so nervous! I have being researching this for a while and am finally ready... I get sleeved on the 30th of this month. I'm having it done 2 hours from where we are stationed at in New Orleans. I'm going to be sleeved at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi. It been crazy with driving back and forth for appointments but it's worth getting the surgery I want since Tricare will not cover it off base. So I started my liquid diet a week ago and oh my is this hard!!!

Pre-op diet-10 since surgery -34!!! I'm shocked and beyond happy to have lost 44 lbs and counting!!! So excited to be getting my beat body back! Starting the gym tomorrow... "It's about to go down" (in my Kevin hart voice)

i have been so busy since surgery with work, school, and my kids I have not had a chance to work out yet but a youfit just open up by my house so I have no excuse now

When your legs can now move behind your head easier and stay there for a while when your having adult time with your hubby... Sorry I know it's a over share

I am having the same problem but I have not been eating good. I have to do better with meal planning

I'm having problems not sneaking a candy here and there. I'm only 6 weeks out and I'm sooooo over the protein what was your diet your first year. I have a military nutrition and they are really date in their information. I have been able to find better info online here and there.

I'm doing much better although The site where the big incision was really sore these last few days but my doctor said that's normal I want to go see him today and not I'm on solids and that's kind of tricky but I have lost about 30 pounds so that's exciting in the fact that I been able to fit into clothes that I bought two years ago that I couldn't wear when I bought them and now they're fitting. I'm so nervous though on what my limit is that I won't even try to push it to the limit and finding myself having to eat or drink more frequently because I won't eat to feel full I just eat to make sure I take a couple bites of something so that way I don't pass out

Every time I have protein makes me sick I have tried and everything under the sun. I have been eating fruit baby food and yogurt but I know I'm still not getting enough protein in and I'm starting to worry myself considering you need protein to heal I also know I'm only getting about 20 ounces of water in a day. My nut and dr said keep trying and my in my vital signs look great but I am 10 days postop and I have no energy at all I can't sleep at night I just feel so drained.

if I remember correctly your surgery has passed right? It was the 7th correct? How did your surgery go.

so I changed from standard to prime to make sure I had no problems. Keesler was great it's a nice hospital. I do not receive care at Keesler my primary care dr is in New Orleans/ belle chasse. There was a lady there when I went to the first meeting at Keesler back a few months ago the live 20 minutes west of me in New Orleans and she had standard so I'm sure there is a way... Since I got sleeved I do. to feel like eating anything, my stomach hires so bad. I drink maybe about 10 oz of water a day Ayer 2 Popsicles.and a little yogurt. My proteins I used to live taste beyond gross to me. Help IDK what to do???

So I'm using the medicine cap again to make sure I'm drinking one oz at a time. I know this a life style change but it has to get easier right? My pain meds are making me super sick and I do not want to use them but need them. What kinds of pain meds did you all get pills or liquid? What kind of liquid? What kind of pills? I was sleeved the 30th and I'm not feeling to hot still:-( I'm unsure of what kind of foods I can eat and my dr is military so they are closed until Monday

I am so glad you guys were able to understand my pot I was half way out of it last nite and when I read it this morning I was like "Aery" which was suppose to be and* and "live" was suppose to be love lol it was the meds and stress. I'm calling first thing tomorrow I had surgery on base and you can never get ahold of any one on the weekends :-(
