    No support from my family.....

I know what you mean. I thought my family was with me and now since I have so many problems they state well should not had the surgery. I was a picker eater before surgery and my doctor knew this but he still said I would be ok, but I am not. Foods that I liked I don't and a tried to eat different things and got nausea or vomiting. Talk with your doctor and get the whole picture, I don't want you to go through what I am now.

    ONE YEAR SLEEVE-AVERSARY !

I am in my 6th week and yes I have the thoughts what did I get myself into. But losing the weight 56 pounds so far I do feel better. Being cold a lot I hate but hopefully that will go away to a point. Eating sucks watching my husband yesterday eat a hot dog was horrible but a took a small bit took the craving away and did not get sick. I will work it off at the gym but a small bit help me mentally.... The docs and nutrich's say don't eat that or that but once in awhile I don't think it will hurt. We are all human and we do crave But if you keep on saying no no no the process will not work. I am not saying eat what you want all the time but once in a blue moon I will do that but work out harder after I eat it to keep the calorie count down. Think of yourself one year ago. Are you happy with the amount of weight you lost. Everyone is beautiful no matter what you look like or your weight but you will be around much longer to see your kids grow up. Great Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Carafate Suspension made me vomit as soon as it went down it came up. I am on Nexium 40 mg powder not the capsule. You mix it with one once of Water wait about a minute and drink. This help the healing, ulcer and acid in my stomach. Ask your doctor about it.
  4. abarta83, Appeal your STD... Your employer new you where requesting STD and HR should have step in and told you but with a Pre exist I don't think they can do that... If not, seek a free consult with attorney and see what they say. I think the legal membership we have you can have a free consult... It was called legal shield check it out... only cost able $18. per month and we have used it numerous occasions and save a lot on legal fees.
  5. I am having the same problem... Surgery Dec 10, 2013... My house is 90 degrees and have 3 blankets and my husband just sweating. I was told that it is my inter core losing the heat and it should get better... now hearing from others I do know... I was not aware of a few things that is going on with me I which I knew more and made I would have done a different surgery instead on the sleeve. good luck to all I hope we can get warned up.

    Horrible nausea

Hi, I had my surgery on December 10, 2013... the first two weeks I felt great... but now I am nausea and vomiting, the doctors have tried several things but I still nausea even when I take the medication for it and vomiting every few days. I see my doctor tomorrow also and I am going to ask for a CT, ultra sound or endo scope to find out if something is happening which medication won't help. I talked with several forums and one lady said it has been 10 months and she still isn't doing great. I somewhat upset because I am not sure if I made the right decision to have the sleeve. I hope things are going to be ok.

    My EKG was abnormal

I had the stress test and found a few things wrong with my heart and lungs... It took a few months to get things under control with a few test and the dye in the heart a lungs but I was cleared and had my surgery on the 10th of December and doing ok in the health side. Do panic it will be ok.
  8. Wennie, I had my surgery on December 10th, and I did regret having it and sometimes still do. I have a lot of medical issues but I know I made the right decisions and I know you have to. I keep on thinking the light is at the end of the tunnel.... and each day is getting better and I know it will be the same for you. I am not a Water drinker and have never been but as long as I have a flavor in the water it is not bad. I am finally able to go to the gym and ride a bike for 5 minutes or so and I go with my husband to walk in stores... I don't know if you will have good and bad days but them will start turning into good ones... Keep an open mind and look how beautiful you will be after several months. I started at 265 and I am down to 219 today.... Just keep good thoughts and you will make it.
