nice job. thats wonderful. I am 3 years out. Iwent from 240 down to 175. Iwent for a fill Monday to try and gety the last 30 lbs off. Those are the hardest.

Mine is like that too. Actually one of my stiches holding it in place ripped through the muscle during a yoga class. its just sitting crooked. The Dr when you lay down for the fill will push on it and get it in the correct position. If it does flip completly they can fix it with a minor surgery. Most likely it wont flip though. Goog luck on your journey. How fun you two get to do it together.

it has happened to me a couple times. twice they took it all out because of all the swelling from spitting and gagging and choking. this last time just took out 0.5, now I am at Dr. to add 0.1. You probably have enough now to just get little fills not to go overfilled. I am just going to go real slow it just might take longer. I hate being over full it is miserable. good luck.

I went through the same thing in my marriage. Almost 9 years ago. It takes that point for you to realize its over for you to move on. Nows the time. MOVE ON. I am remarried now and can trust my new spouse. So, have fun and good luck it is actually a great adventure.

The stitch was in my port though not my stomach.

one of my stitches did come out. I felt a pulling in my stomach for a couple of days, then in yoga it popped. I could see it poking out. My port is close to my skin now. I didnt have it fixed because it doesnt bother me any more. Just letting you know it does happen.

I have a question for you guys you seem to be seasoned lapbanders. I have had my band about a year now. I am down 60 lbs. I am very happy about that. I have had problems with my fills. I need an opinion. I have a 10 cc. band. The fullest I have been is 3.0. I got really sick. gagged spit couldnt swallow for 9 hours. I had to take all the fill out because of sweelling. This has happened numerous times. I am at 2.7 now. I spit and gag and get sick at least once a day. I am not eating anything. This has happened because of hot tea, slim fast etc. The pain is horrible when it happnes. I have lost 10 lbs in a week. I have an appt today. I was going to have some taken out. Last time at 2.6 I had no restriction. Should I wait this out? Should I have some removed. Is it just from the swelling? Should I remove some fill let my stomach take a break then try a little mre? I am so confused. Please, HELP....:cursing:

I am a Labor and Delivery Nurse. Leave all options open. Everyone is so different. The best outcome is a healthy baby. Who cares how you get there. Vaginal, C/S, drugs or no drugs. You will know what you want when the time is comes. Good Luck.

I think we all had moments that scared us and we debated doing it. I did it 11 months ago. It has been great. I went from 235 down to 180 now. I am still working but pleased I did it. Follow your heart. There are risks in any surgery but there are risks living obese too.

i am down 55 lbs. wanted it to more by now. Had complete unfill in august, tryed to start getting fills again, couldnt swallow my own spit had to unfill again. I am on my way to try filling again. Just very frustrating when it was working it was great. I actually go again today fot a fill . I am going every 2 weeks until I get there very slowly. I cant wait for restriction again. I have 20 lbs to reach my goal.

the same has happened to me twice. Had to have it all removed. now slowly increasing. I havnt lost since July. Its very frustrating. I dont know the answer. I am trying to go every 2 weeks and get small fills. We will see what happens.

my guess is it got in there due to passing through the skin and vessels before entering the port and then pushed into the port and tubing. I could be wrong I am just guessing. Ask him next time. I too am unfilled it stinks, the last 2 times I have gotten too tight, but without it I have no restriction. I was down 60 lbs, but have gained 5 lbs since July when this all started happening. 2 times now I have gotten filled right before my period. My band was so tight. The first time I spit and foamed and couldnt keep any thimg down and had to be unfilled completly. I let things rest and sterted getting filled slowly again right before my period it happened again, I was in the er for 7 hours and then they unfilled again. I have no fill and havnt since the beginning of July. I had a CT and ruled out my band being slipped. I dont know what to do, I hope this time it doesnt happen. I havnt lost any weight, probably hae gained 5 lbs.

I was filled on wed up to 3.0 from 2.7, I was fine that night. This morning at work I drank half cup of coffee and had a breath mint. I started sliming pbing, puking choking wretching.I had to leave work. I had to use towels and plastic bag home. I then went to the Dr and finally after doing this for 6 hours he removed all the fill to let my stomach and esophogus rest and the swelling go down. It was so painful. It was a horrible day. Anyway just wanted to share it with people who know what I am talking about.

Get a fill Jorge QUICK...thats the only thing that keeps me accountable. The tool is actually the fills, without a fill the band doesnt work. Youre only failing if you quit. You already made the decision to do this so get going you can do it. Good Luck
