I only took the pain medication for 4 days. Haven't taken it since then.

It's been almost 4 weeks since surgery. I'm doing great, all except that I itch all the time. I thought it was just dry skin but I've been using a lot of moisturizer and still itch, especially on my chest. I take a Benedrill every night so stop the itching long enough to sleep. Anybody else have this problem?

I want to be able to: Wear my wedding ring Sit in booths without test them first Having fun shopping for clothes Not be the "fat sister" Use the upstairs in my house Be able to sit on floor and play with my grandkids Be comfortable in movie and plane seats Walk in stores and not use those dumb electric carts Going into my closet and finding things that DO fit Walk from he parked car instead of people having to drop me off at the door Surgery in 10 days-excited but kind of scared too

My surgery is the 27th. Thanks for the coffee tip. I get headaches often anyway and didn't think about that being a big problem after surgery. I'm getting off coffee right now. Maybe that will help.

I'm having surgery on Nov. 27. Just found out today. Now I'm in a panic to get everything done before surgery. I know this sounds kind of silly but I love to decorate for Christmas. I understand that I will be very sore when I come home so I'm thinking of doing it before I go into the hospital. Anybody else think about this or am I just making more work for myself?

I'm Kay. My surgery date is Nov.27 but hoped you'd accept me into your Dec. group. I'm 5' and I weigh 236. I've gone through most of the hoops already. Just one more next Monday when I have a pre-op meeting. I have quite a few concerns but most worried about what I will be able to eat, or drink, when I get home. Hope these questions will be answered at my meeting next week.

I have the same question. I'm having my sleeve surgery in about 2 weeks. Yikes! What should I have here when I get home?
