Thank you for that kind and informative response. I 100% agree with you in the whole racket aspect. I've never had to go to a doctor for so many consults! The face mask last night was digging into my face and left a huge red mark which still isn't gone. Along with the soreness. Just give me the damn machine and let me get moving forward! Congrats! On your surgery and weight loss! I can't wait to be able to say the same thing! -

Someone recommended I ask for the apap machine which adjusts to your apnea and sleep Pattern. Which makes sense I took 2 ambien and a Xanax and still couldn't sleep -

Hi Sandee I have the same insurance as you do. The bcbs horizon of NJ. It covers the sleeve surgery. I have to meet my deductible first ($750) then it covers 90% of surgery. I believe I have to pay the 10%. What I am wondering is when do I have to pay the 10%? Does the hospital bill you for it ? Do you have to pay it up front before surgery? I am in Rhode Island -
I had my upper endo today as part of my pre op testing. I asked how everything looked and they told me there was a little redness in my stomach but I have to wait a week for all my results. Does anyone know what it could be? I tried looking on line and came up with gastritis or H. Pylori. Has anyone had either of those pre op? What did you do? Did it effect your surgery in anyway? Thanks!
