I have been researching WeightLoss Surgery for quite some time. I came across this site through my research.
When I was 11 my body decided to go out instead of up. I've been overweight, heavy, husky, sturdy, you name it I've heard it since then.
I have tried it all. Weight Watchers (no loss), Nutrisystem (some loss, but gallbladder issues), Phen-Phen - this is one of the few things that worked. At my heaviest I was 265 my lowest I can remember is 197. I am currently 224. The loss of 40 pounds was during my divorce. At that time I was eating maybe 800 calories a day. Not healthy at all.
i am in the final month of my insurance requirements. I am working with a nutritionist, a personal trainer and my doctor. And I have not lost 1 pound, but have gained 5. I eat 1500 calories a day and workout for 60 minutes 6 days a week. Frustrated can't even begin to express how I feel. I log everything and stick to what my nutritionist says. yet still nothing.
I am toning my muscles which is good and these 3 months have helped me make some behavior modifications to help in the road ahead. 1 8 oz soda every other week (used to be 3 bottles of diet mt dew a day). No alcohol (used to be 1 beer after work 2-3 times a week). I no longer drink anything during meals (that was the hardest). O look forward to working out now and feel that if I don't I've missed something.
Me: I have a great job, a great husband, and am very happy, other than my body image. The most important thing to me is laughter - make it fun.

I hope to meet some people in my same predicament. Learn some tips and share in other people's success.
