I was on the phone with Dr. Valnzuela for about 50 mins. he really answered the last batch of questions I had (and there were many) I know I made the right choice and that I will be in the best hands, so now I have my date.....September 17th Yesssssssssssss!!!!!!

Yes I already emailed them all my paperwork so I'm just waiting for them to call me to set my surgery date do you have a date yet????

After all this time this almost feels like a pregnancy with all the prenatal care and inquiries(flash back) I just called Dr. Gonzalez office they are emailing me a medical history questionnaire for me to fill out, and after everything gets cleared I will get my surgery date hopefully for next month...!!!!!I want to have this done so bad! I'm ready to start my journey to a healthier life.

Thanks for the info, I got the list now and this time I´ll have it handy so I don´t lose it again .And about the thongs...I know that´s so funny...but when you think about it´s a very good idea.

Hello Lap-bandit I´m so glad you found the list I know there´s many out there, the only thing is that I already looked for my list and I just simply couldn´t find it...can you tell me where you got it from ?..I know you must have picked one of the best I´m trying to gather as much info as possible because I know It is a big compromise and a life change decision ,plus I still have about one more month before I can get all the money together so I still have a couple of weeks. keep in touch :ranger:

Good for you all that are on their way! I'm still doing my research. Can any one that has gone through the first month with the band tell me about their experience with their liquid diet? It sounds easy but I'm not much of a liquid person, I drink very little fluids as it is. So that is the one scary thing for me. Good luck to all and keep us posted!

Hello ! everything sounds great so far, I would not want to end up having to pay for a bad decision for years to come ,that is why I'm doing all this research on the web and also on this forum,thank you for sharing all your good experiences with Dr. Francisco Gonzalez, I will be reading more into his background tonight, for now I'm off to work.:faint:

Looks like you did your research for a while any pointers on what really matters to be able to find the best Dr. and best facility ? also for me the cost is very important since I will be self pay the best $ for the best service ...I don't want to risk having the surgery done in a place that does not meet the US requirements and end up paying the consequences for my budget issue ,but for the amount I would be charged in the US ,I would have to be saving for I don't know how many more years and since I hear there's lots of nice places and excellent doctors with alot of experience thats the main reason why I want to have it done in Mexico,so any help will be greatly appreciated.:help:
