    What the H*LL is wrong with me!

    Hello everyone, I had 1 boiled egg for Breakfast and it lasted until now (12:15). Now I'm eating my tuna (5oz can) w/1/2 t mayo, just a dollop of dill relish, and a egg. I have atempted to eat most,(1/2) but I can't. I don't really know IF I'M REALLY FULL or if it's stuck. I think I will stop and see if it's going to last. I'm excited. I will have a shake later. I need to drink it after my workout because by then I'm starving. I am making a vanilla shake with 1 t of white choc pudding and skim milk. I will let you know how that goes. I would love to put a few pecans in it, but I'm afraid it might mess up my stomach. Okay, I think that I'm full. I remember when I would eat the whole cup of tuna w/crackers and then some pudding.     Yes Addy, Daisy and I live near MP. MP is closer for us to get to than Texarkana, although we did come to a few to Texarkana, then gas got too high and jobs became a bit demanding. Since we missed the MP mtg and no one has responded, maybe someone from the Texarkana mtg can give us a update here. Thanks in advance.

    What the H*LL is wrong with me!

    "YES WE CAN!", And Friday, we can sing "YES WE DID". I weighted myself today at the wellness center and I have already lost 1 1/2 pounds. Right now, I'm sitting here watching "The Biggest Loser" and saying to myself, I really don't want that cookie or slice or cake. I am even cooking for my DH and not wanting to taste. Ladies, we are going to be so freaking fierce friday, that we are doing to want to do this again, but not to soon:biggrin:. From this we will learn to eat better all over again. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Gloucester, yep, my snacks call my name when I get home. But I'm determined to finish this test. Tomorrow will be better for us because we can have meat. I'm going to boil some eggs tonight and get my tuna ready for lunch tomorrow. I tried a recipe for a shake I got off another thread and it was the bomb. 1 scoop of vanilla protein, 8 oz. skim milk,1 tsp of cheesecake jello pudding, 2 or 3 ice cubes, 1 tsp peanut butter, blend and voila!!!!! I truly enjoyed it. We can do this and we will do this, okay. We did the pre-op and lived, we can do this.

  9. Leslie, that is freaking good!!!!!! {{{{yelling}}}} {{{get your butt up and sweat}}}}}} What did you eat for breakfast? I am going to have Soup (Ham and split pea) for lunch. Maybe a yogurt before workout and after, another shake, for dinner, the other half of soup. The calorie and carbs are a bit high for the soup, but that's all I have here at wk. I think I'll boil some eggs also tonight. Have me a boiled egg for breakfast and my good ole tuna for lunch. We actually get to chew tomorrow.:wub:
  10. It's day 2; and I am sitting here sipping my cheesecake/p-nut butter protein shake and it is soooo good. I have been looking for that list of protein shake mixes. I printed off a copy and have misplaced it. If anyone on here remembers where I can find it, please let me know. I watched Diet Tribe last night and it was okay. One of the girls attitude stunk, but mine probably did too when I started this journey, only I wasn't on nationwide TV. While I was watching it, I started thinking about food and REALLY wanted to go and eat, but looking at the show really helped me, so after it went off, I took my hungry butt to bed. How is everyone else doing?

    I just checked my emails and found out that the support meeting is tonight. I was in MP at the wellness center this evening. I guess I'll have to make it next month. Did anyone go? Please update me.
  13. Thanks, MistyD. I weighted (I don't own a scale)this evening at the wellness center and found out that I had only gained 1/2 pound over the hoildays. I am still going to finish the test, though. I was happy that I didn't gain but, I probably could have lost if I haven't eaten all the junk. I was still exercising and I guess that's what helped, it's true that God takes care of fools (that would be me) and children. LOL[/url]

    SKhopp, I know that I ate around my band. I'm sure I could have been at goal had I ate the right foods. I did the same as Gloucester, "just one bite" and I did just eat one bite, but it was several slider foods. I would go in the pantry and eat "just one bite" of cookies, cheese puffs, ice cream, etc. But silly me, I said it was only 1 bite. Now, 1 1/2 yr later, I'm trying to correct several thousands of dollars mistake. It will get better, I have to tell myself that until it gets in my head and my heart. I list my food in the Food and Nutrition thread, "Share what you ate". It keeps me accountable, I still slip, but I'm hoping that this 5 day pouch test will help me do better. All things ARE possible.

    LastOption, was the Slim in 6 a video? I'll google it. I jioned a wellness center and I walk/jog on the threadmill and I do the stength training, but the dang thing still wants to hang (and I mean literallly hang, LOL) around.:thumbup: Thank goodness for spanx.

    yesterday B-1 c coffee, 1 fried egg S-Special K crackers (17) w 3 T of Roasted Red pepper hummas L-2 small slices of chicken breast and 1 wing D-3 pcs of venison(small) 1/2 slice of cake S-cheese puffs Starting the 5 day pouch test today

    Gloucester, this is how WE get back on track. Tomorrow is a new day. We can start from there. Re-think things, the holidays are over and WE have a new day and a start fresh. Some make short term goals (I can't do that), I saw the Biggest Losers and everytime I get on the threadmill, I see Heba (one of the ladies on BL). She was heavy and she lost, but not as much as the ladies did last season, but when she came back for the finale, she had lost a huge amt. So when I want to quit, I make myself see her and say to myself if Heba can do I can too. My DH is no help, I secretly think that he wants to sabatoge my journey cause even if I ask him to help, he brings in more junk. So, I have to prove him wrong. So stick with it, we are, and we are here for you. Remember the old saying, "your doorstep today, maybe mine tomorrow".

    I was banded 8/10/2007 and at the bottom you can see I've only loss 58 pounds (don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for that). I was hoping by August 08 that I would have met goal. I gained some over the holidays and I was exercising 3 days a wk. I know that it's my fault not the bands. I'm starting the 5 day pouch test tomorrow also. I won't schedule a appt with my dr until I have lost a significant amount of weight. I am excited about starting the test and hope that I can do well plus exercise. School starts tomorrow and maybe being back at wk, I can focus. I hope that WE ALL get back on track. It has been a struggled but we have such great support here for each other.

    I hate it when people post just to post.....

    I think I might have gnomes or fairies at my home but, instead of cleaning, they leave coffee stains in the carpet, they don't clean up the wasted coffee on the counter. Now, mind you my DH goes to the same places the gnomes or fairies go, but he didn't do it (it's only the two of us here). LOL

    yesterday B- 1c coffee, 1 boiled egg L-1 chicken thigh, 1/2 c green beans and 3 bites of cornbread S-1/2 slice of cake D-1/2 of a weiner (I think that was all, but if it was more I will edit it)
  22. I know I'm such a whinner, but I do want to do this right. For some of you that have finished the 5 days, please tell me what you ate for days 3,4, and 5. You don't have to tell me everything just give me some of the things you ate. I know that I can have (day 1 and 2) a protein shake for breakfast, yogurt or pudding for lunch and maybe another shake for dinner. Did you have yogurt or pudding for a snack or do we refrain from snacks altogether? I'm so excited about doing this and you all have been so supportive to each other. I appreciate ALL the help you can give me. Thanks in advance!!!! Luluc, congrats on the loss. :tt2:
  23. I need to ask something about the pouch test. I am not a cook at all. I bought some soup (ham and split soup), is that alright? I have the protein drinks, SF pudding,tuna, chicken, and salmon. I will buy ground beef and turkey. Did anyone eat store bought soups? Did you eat your eggs boiled or fried? What about the greek yogurt? I am so sorry about the many questions, but I really want to do the right thing.
  24. I just found this thread. Luluc told me that she was doing the 5 day pouch test and I told her that I might. Well, count me in. I will start Monday. I just bought some protein drink mix and some more things I will need. School starts back Monday, so I will be busy and not thinking about the snacks. I have been going to the fitness center and I know that I have gained a few pounds. Thanks, BBK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
