A lot less

Hi everyone, finally got back on here. I had gotten too addicted, LOL B-coffee with protein mix L-1/2c cottage cheese w/fruit S-small slice of pecan pie S-protein shake D-hot wings (too many) and 1/2 cajun red beans 64oz water and diet lipton tea

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've been here as well. I've had issues with my hair and Dr. K said that sometimes it happens after the surgery and then 1-2 yrs after again. She said to make sure that I am taking a muti-vitamin and my protein should be 40-60 grams a day. Congrats, Hippmom!!!!!! Newbies, listen to the ones on here cause their information and encouraging helped me a lot.

Thanks. It is so amazing that I can do this liqiud diet (it's hard, but I'm still doing it), but when I can eat regular food, it's even harder. It's a daily task and maybe I'm so use to eating any and everything that I get lazy or tired trying to eat right. I am not a cook and I guess I sometime just grab a little (or a lot) and don't worry about the protien. I have to be more attentive to how to get the correct amt. We were told first 40-45 grams and about 2 months ago at a mtg. it was 60. I guess I can drink at least one protien drink a day to get at least 20-21 grams. Thanks so much for everyone's help. Thanks, that's makes me feel better cause I did up my protein and my hairdresser gves me a deep conditioner that has protein. I lost some at first not that much but all of sudden it started coming out. Congrats on your weight loss.

Thanks, Sugarbear. Yes, I think that each shake is around 150 plus the milk (silk, light). I think the calories are around 230. I only drink 3. I also have the Atkins protein shake which I think is less calories. I was so hoping that the salad would be the 3rd day:frown:. I have heard that it is good and it would help jumpstart the loss again. I am trying to keep busy. I am okay, just was hoping that I would be at goal my 2nd yr, but it will be in August and I don't see it happening, I am grateful for what I have lost. I heard that Hippmom looks really good. Don't know about Lisa, but I'm sure she's okay. It has been lonesome in here, I check in here but don't post. Again, thanks for your help. P/S Is the restart diet (for post bandsters) similar to the pre-op diet? Yes, I am taking vitamin, biotin and B-12. Having trouble with hair loss for some reason, hoping that levels off soon, I don't look good bald.:blushing: I lost some after the band, but never like this. What do you think?

Does anyone remember the pre-op diet? I cannot find mine and I'd like to try it again. I remember the 1st two or is it three days will be slimfast (I am doing protein shakes)? I know that either the 3rd or 4th day we can add a garden salad. Can I eat SF jello, yogurt, cottage cheese after the 3rd day? I think I might need a fill but I'm going to try this first. Thanks

Sorry to hear about your situation G4E, but have you tried asking for some assitance at the hospital? Here I know that it's something called "entigy" (I probably spelled it wrong, but it's pronounced just like I spelled it). There are illegal people here that use it and they have jobs. I tried one time, but I had a job and I didn't quailfy. Sending prayers your way.

I feel the same way. I haven't been to the office since last yr. I have some restriction but probably not enough. I am dealing with the same issue of eating w/o thinking. I have been exercising my butt off until today I have no energy. A coach here at the school said that I've probably been pushing myself too hard. I find myself wishing that I hadn't gotten the band, but I know that it was the best thing for me cause I probably would not have lost this much. I guess that I'm my biggest enemy:cursing: and I'm at fault. I have had this band for almost 2 yrs. and still can't get to my target weight. I hope to be there soon. This site has been very slow for a long time and I read time to time to see how everyone is doing.

I agree with everyone about Jerry and Helen. They looked rather old. Tara did look much healthier. Joelle and Carla looked good. Nicole looked great and so did Jerry's wife, that dress was cute. The sisters (Aubry and Mandi) looked okay, I think Mandi is still struggling. Kristen, well, I didn't recognize her. I think she looked good, too. Dane and ??? were okay. Felipe and Sione were okay. Nicloe's boyfriend did okay, didn't look like he had lost anymore than he did when he was voted off. I was excited to see David, he looks so good, I hope that he keeps it up. Kinda felt sorry for Daniel. I hope that he does better. Mike looked great, glad that he didn't win. Tara, I think thought that she had it in the bag, I don't think that she expected Helen to lose that much. I tried to vote for the two girls last night and couldn't get thru, but Amanda won and that's who I wanted to win.

I agree that Jillian is "hot" and I'd love to have any part of her body. I don't care if she's gay or not. I tried voting last night and could not even get a dial tone. I think that Tara is a shoe-in for the title, but Helen could fool me. You heard Allison tell her (Tara) that she hadn't won yet (which I know Tara was happy that she made the weight). I might just vote for Ron cause I don't want either one to win and I know that Ron can't beat Helen or Tara.

I was just looking that up, but it said that she wasn't gay. I had heard that she and Bob were gay. Tara ran it in just over 4 hrs.

Kat, I had to laugh when I read this and by all means respond....my Dh's name is Dennis and guess what, he drives a school bus. No, we live in Texas, so it was not him. That would be something one of his kids would say and he does have a sense of humor and he would have called me and we would have a good laugh about it. I'm so sure he would have told the kid something obnxouis back and moved on, but never put him off the bus cause fighting or swearing would have rank for that. Thanks for the chuckle.
