    #1 tying my shoe laces in the center of my shoes and not to the side. #2 actually buying clothes that has a #1???? in front instead of 2???? #3 not looking like that lady in that commercial (slim something) when she stop eating bread and so did her DH and he lost and she got larger.

    Okay, gutter or not, I read all the post and I thought about them all especially what "bandster_1007" said. LOL:) Did you tell her that you had the lapband? And what gave her the right to think that you'd know what she meant considering it was her friend, unless she's undercover and it was actually her. Maybe that was the night I missed and they mentioned that at one of my support group mtgs. LOL if so we all missed a mtg or two. That's too funny. Please, now you have all of curious. Hurry and go to church to find out.

    Sorry Di about the date. But look at it this way, do something fun that you like. Have a Di's night. Get your favorite movie, fat-free popcorn, polish your nails and be happy cause he could have been one of the guys at whosyadaddy's gym that watches ESPN in the nude. :cool:

    had a very good walk yesterday, my sister had a tongue wagging (serves her right, she only weighs about 110 lbs.):heh: Only to weigh that. My DH probably wouldn't allow me out the house.LOL Dave, I think I would have driven back, too. Great workout though. What's everyone eating for Thanksgiving? And are we resting that day?

    Congratulations on the new baby, I bet he's a sweetheart. I commend you for being a foster parent. My DH wanted so much to have a child (we married late) he's 56 and I'm 55. We have grandchildren, so I guess we can "foster" them. I understand about the eating----I can eat EVERYTHING. I have been exercising everyday, mostly walking (work 30 mins, home 15-30mins.) and it has truly worked. I have a walking tape by Leslie ????? and I'm up to the 2 mile but I haven't done the 3 mile yet. I think that's why I am losing some, but not at the rate I think I should be. I want to reach my "sweet spot" fast. A friend on mine went to get her 3rd fill and she had to pay a co-pay. I thought we were told that we had 6 fills with the surgery. Do you pay for your fills yet? Gloria

    Good morning all, How is the weight loss coming? I think that I'm at a still stand as well. I get my 3rd fill December 4th and I hope that it helps a lot, but then I'll settle for it helping a little bit especially with Christmas coming and my DH has his Christmas parties. I know that it won't be so bad here at school (Daingerfield High) cause the students will ALL of the snacks from me. LOL How are you, Renew? Welcome, Crazey4. Congrats, Eastxnurse on the weight loss.

    Okay Di, we'd like to know about the date. I was lazy this morning, but I do plan to take that 30 min walk when I get home. Tooth feels much better today, took medicine and I think I'll live. I agree with trying to get 50grams of protein, it's almost next to impossible for me. I have a hard time getting the veggies as well. I'm good with the H2O however.

    LOL, whosyourdaddy. Pain does suck.:think But I'm determined to get some exercise in. Guess what everybody!!!!! We are getting massages today at work (high school). I guess they understand the stress on us around this time of the year. I know I have truck loads. LOL BTW, it's free. So for my conference period-massage and I'll exercise for lunch considering I can't eat, so I'll drink my protein as I walk (30 min. and 30 min. at home). Have a blessed day!!!!!!

    30 minute walk this morning, going to try for 30 minutes this evening (if weather allows). I am going to get my bike out and ride it next week (out of school for Thanksgiving). Feeling a little discouraged today. I feel like that Mac and Cheese commercial----I got the blues. :cry I don't see the weight loss in my face. I think that I have allergies or something and it has infected my tooth and I can't eat (gum sore), so I have to drink my proteins. I have a dentist appt next Wedneday. Well, enough of my chatter. LOL Take care and EXERCISE!!!!!!!!!

    112 grams of protein

    Hi txsmile, the drink was Isopure. It gives me plenty of energy. It is not my favorite, but I get the protein as well as the energy. Slimfast is not a favorite of mine, so I try other drinks.

    Walked 30 minutes yesterday. Walked 30 minutes (five times around the baseball field) don't know if it was a mile or not, but it was 30 minutes.

    walked one mile today, hopefully another this evening after wk. 1/2 mile yesterday-had problems at wk so I couldn't walk the other 1/2. Got home and had problems, so I guess I owe November a 1/2 Saturday. LOL

    Kudo's to you Lisa, I am still not feeling any restriction ( 2 wks for fill Tuesday), but I know that it won't all happen overnight, God knows it took me a while to get this large, LOL, so I'll be patient. I understnad about the sugar high, then coming off of it----not a good feeling, matter of fact, I always drift off to sleep. Maybe the soreness is from arthiritis (sp). I know when the weather changes it's makes me sore until the weather evens off. I hope you feel better soon.

    DavidB, how do you get all of your protein (40-60 gm)? I have the hardest time. I drink the Isopure (not the whole bottle), but I also read somewhere that the dr's really didn't want you drinking your calories, which I'm getting that with the protein.
