Lisa, I'm interested too about the "test" tubes. I have some but I have not tried them. Today is sooooo beautiful..... I tried to run the bleachers today, but I thought "gosh, if I fall and kill myself, no one will know it and they won't find me until football season". Needless to say, I stopped, rested and got back to walking on the track where it was safe. Surely the elementary kids would see me there. LOL I know "stay in the box", I will , Lou Ann is letting me use hers, since she's almost to goal.

I marked the date, we will be having TAKS for the students that wk, so someone PLEEZ remind a old lady like me the day before. I will probably be in a classroom monitoring, but the student will be quiet and testing, so I can still say a prayer.

I was looking at TBN this afternoon (shhhh, I am at wk, "lunch") and the speaker gave a verse that just absolutely blessed me. Proverbs 13:12. SugarBear, there is a web-site that one lady mentioned on the View (it was 2 ladies). They both had gastric bypass, one is maintaining her weight and the other had gained 80 lbs back. The web-site had something on it called the 5 day pouch test, sort of used to jump start your weight when you stayed at a plateau. WWW.livingafterwls.com. It also had recipes on it.

My complaint is my car has a cassette player and I can no longer find cassettes. Laurend could it have been a brown recluse(sp) spider?

After you reach your one yr anniversary band date, how often are you scheduled a fill? Will it still be on a 6 week basic?

My vote goes to Roger. Did you notice that Mark almost cried and then he sucked it up? Maybe it's not just us that's tired of seeing him cry, maybe all the tv audience is tired. Hopefully he took his wifes advice and toughen up. I don't mind a man showing his emotions, I just don't want to see it every Tuesday. Ali has lost a lot of weight and I'm wondering has she met her goal weight. She does look good. I am proud of them all in spite of their faults. Gosh, I wish I had a friend like Jillian or Bob. I could use some tips on how to cook, keep my extra gum, one a day vitamins, brita H2O with my lil green bottle and oatmeal.

I surf through some of the other threads to learn and I have the TX thread I go to. I also go to the one that has a TV program that I like. My thing ,I'm just too much on here period. I make sure that I read here everyday. Everyone here (Christian site) is so motivational and "bible based". NeverB4, I love Beth Moore. She came to Dallas about 2 yrs ago to my sister's church to speak at a Womens conference and she was a blessing to me. She is good friends with Tony Evans' (Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, my sisters church) daughter. Morgan, God does give us the desires of our heart. Keep the faith. I prayed and asked for God's will to be done when I decided to have to surgery. I never felt guilty in wanting to have the surgery, not once, cause I knew that I couldn't do it alone and that he had created these things as a tool for us that wasn't as strong as some that did do it without surgery. Sometimes I get depressed about the weight loss, but that's because I'm looking at others success and not concentrating on my success wheather it be slow or fast, I will and can do all things through Christ that strenghtens me. Be blessed everyone and may your day be full of praise and worship to the one that has made all of this possible.

Oh, My gosh, Lisa and Susan, I just looked at your weight loss and how many (less) you both have to go. Congratulations:thumbup: Susan, I had the boat ready so I could get to school, but wouldn't you know it, the rain stopped, but not before it made our backyard a pond. Sun is sort of shining here in Daingerfield now. I think that they said that the rain would be back. Lisa, my box floated away also. After school, I'll shopping for another one, but in the meantime I'm drinking my slimfast. I really forgot how much I hate that drink, but the memories are coming back, arrgh!!!!!!!!

I agree. If I had been his wife I would have been home doing my "biggest loser game". LOL I didn't see that part about the kids eating unhealthy. I hope that it will be a family effort for all of them when they get home to exercise. Paul is still in love with Kelly, so it's going to be interesting to see him when they all come back for the final winner. It could be a brother/sister thing between Mark and Ali, but it was just my instinct and I have been wrong before (not often, at least that's what I make my DH think). LOL:biggrin:

No, it's not just you. I felt that when they won and went on the helicopter ride and had breakfast or lunch (or dinner). He just looks at her differently. He doesn't look at Kelly that way. LOL He thinks that he's such a hunk himself. No, he doesn't have a relationship with the "girls", just Ali. I am happy for all their weight loss.

Mark didn't look quite so happy when they showed Roger losing 15 pounds. I wish I could just lose that in one months. lol
