    Share ideas, What did you eat today ?

    Heideb, I discovered that a lot of stringy meats are not band friendly for me. I ate a slice of pot roast the other day and that won't happen again anytime soon. I also had steak one day and it went fine, the next day, not so fine. For me, it's trial and see if I "slime" (sorry, but I had to do that, LOL). I try to take little bites and chew very well.

    Today B- coffee, protein shake S- 2 bite size kit kats L- 6 meatballs and 1/2 pork rinds D- 6 oz WW cherry cheesecake yogurt maybe something later

    LOL, Luluc, I'm glad I read the reason for "edit". I looked at the calories and the protein grams and I thought, "for 5 only 1 gr of protein":eek:. I will buy some, if you like them.

    Yesterday B- coffee, 2 sausages L- 4 oz. vanilla greek yogurt w/ 3 tsp. peaches and handful of p-nuts D- nachos (Football game, homecoming) S- small bag of chips there are so many good recipes :drool:on here, I might start to cook more.

    Yes, Susan. There are several people that are there to show you how to use the machines also they offer classes. The pool is opening Monday and they offer classes for that also. I am so happy that I joined. Join, Join,Join!!!!!!!!! Maybe we can see you there.:thumbup:

    Good morning everyone, Hipp, Hipp, hooray!!!!! That's for you, Hippmom. I am finally tight after 8 fills, but it is what it is. I had to cancel my appt for next week, and I weighted myself and it seems like I've losted around 6 lbs. I won't change my ticker until next week. Lou Ann and I have joined the "Wellness Center" at the hospital. It is great. They have a pool, a small inside track (you have to walk 22 laps to get a mile). I have gone for 3 days now. I can get my strenght training there. Can't swim a lick but the pool is only 4 ft. Congrats, on your DS wedding. NewJulie, I like that saying. Believing and receiving.:thumbup:

    YAY, for you, Susan. That's good news.:thumbup: I wonder are my kids on some site talking about me like this? I remember making them get out of bed just to come and change my channel in my bedroom. Does that make them "remotes"? :wub: Trust me, they already have told me that they are going to put me away in my older days, thus, I got a lapband to stay healthy and stay away from them. :biggrin:

    Today B- coffee, 1/4 cup oatmeal, 5 wheat crackers w/ 1 babybel cheese L- 1/2 cup ground beef, 2 T pinto beans, 1 tsp. sour cream and 1 tsp. salsa D- 1 oz steak, 1/4 cup spinach S-1 small candy bar:drool: I'm working out a lot more and I am trying to elimimate my 2 snacks a day to at least 1. I am going to try a protein drink after working out. Have any of you been craving crunchy things? I am craving nuts like crazy.:biggrin:

    WHERE does the food get "stuck"??

    I was told to get papaya complete. It's a enzyme that helps the food that's stuck. Mine will either come back up or go down, which the latter doesn't happen very often.

    Glou, I never thought about one of them looking like me, but the next time I watch, it will be on my mind. LOL:biggrin: Yes, WHY do they take off their shirts to weigh, do they do that at the dr's office? Do shirts weigh THAT much? I only take off my shoes and I try to wear light weight clothes. I think I should take off ALL my clothes off when I weigh in next time-----NOT!!!!:crying:

    Yesterday B-coffee, pancake on a stick (ate the sausage and 1/4 of the pancake) and 4oz yogurt S-90 cal pringles baked wheat stixs L-5 any'tizer hot wings and baked potato (1/2) S- 1oz pork rinds D-1 oz ribs (didn't work) sorry to say I ate a pint of ice cream. I didn't want to post it, but I'm here to make myself accountable. I kicked myself and I am back on track today.

    Yes, I saw them upchucking, gosh, I couldn't ever imagine pushing myself to that, unless I ate dry chicken:biggrin:. I would love to have a trainer and I did join a wellness center yesterday and I enjoyed the heck out of it. They have guys walking around telling you stuff about how to work the machines, so maybe I sorta have a trainer, he's just not that personal:wink:. LOL I haven't picked my favorite team yet, but I loved how the yellow (team)daughter worked hard to get immunity (the hill thing) for her and her father.

    I agree with you, Brandy. I wish I could do it. Even with the lapband and exercising, I can only lose 1-2 lbs a week. I must need a trainer but I can't afford one.
