    Has anyone heard of a store called "Shake the weight"? I heard about it on another thread. It is sort of like Herbal Life. I might try that or go back to the pre-op diet for a wk.

    yesterday-----was very bad B-coffee, 6 oz greek yogurt with (1/2 scoop whey protein, 1 pkt spenda) and 1 boiled egg S-peanut butter protein bar L-3:eek: rice cakes (2 with hummus and 1 with peanut butter) D-3 T red bean, 1/4 pc cornbread and 4 bites of pork steak S-small ice cream cone:blush: and about 5 bite size chicksticks S2-1 link smoke sausage I don't know if it's me but, it seems when I have the whey protein I eat like a horse. I can't control myself. I am going to try it tomorrow and it effects me like that, I guess I will have to try something else. Either that or I need a fill. I cancelled my appt last month.

    Post Something POSTIVE Thread

    I'm positive today........ I'm getting healthy not only for me but, for my grandbabies, DH and family. I have faith that I'll see them do all sorts of fantastic things. My only DD (36yrs. old) will be getting her Master's next March and I have faith that I'll see her march across that stage.

    Luluc, unless those 4 potstickers were the size of jumbo pancakes:biggrin:, that's still not as much if you were not banded. We all have our off days, God knows I have them most days. LOL Just think you'll get ALL that off when you do the run, Saturday. Best wishes.

    Welcome Malteselover. I am a slow loser too, but losing all the same. You might like to try the "Food and Nutrition" thread. There is one called "Share your ideas and what you eat". It has lots of ideas and they also share recipes. I'm not a everyday cook, but it does give me ideas and some of the recipes are easy. Who did your fill? Did you get it done at Precision Center? Dr. H or Dr. K has always done mine.

    Sugarbear, It's me---gloharmar--I just changed my name. I got my band last August. I have been a sloooooww loser. I have worked hard just to lose what I have. The end of the rainbow seems so far away but, I know that the pot will be full with the 87 pounds I needed to lose. Please post about the conference, we'd like to hear. Thanks, Gloria

    Today B- coffee, 2 bites of scrambled eggs and 1 sausage link S- 25 hot peanuts L- 1 c taco meat and 3 T red beans S- 3 peanut butter cookies D- 6 small parmesan meatballs, 3 T cream peas (mom cooked) and 2 bites cornbread I was so excited about the meatballs, they were soooo yummy.     NewJulie, the wellness center is in Mt. Pleasant, a part of the hospital (Titus). It just opened this month (sept). They have trainers, heated pool and a inside track (it's small, you have to walk it 22 laps for a mile). It's open 7 days a week.

    Hey Hippmom, I am so happy that you joined. Hope that I will see you there. I'm usually there around 4. I saw Lou Ann last Friday and she has been very busy. I do know that she was at the fair. The ticker is going down slow, but it's moving. It took me a yr to get under 200. With that much moving around, I'm sure you've lost and some inches. I understand about family reunions, they can be very time consuming. Don't mention the clean-up. LOL How do you like the center? I want to try the water aerobics. It's costly for me to come everyday, but I need to do this while it's warm and maybe 3 days a wk when it began to get cold.I sure hope this works. If you hear from Lisa tell her I said hello.     Today B- coffee, 2 sausage links and handful of butter pretzels S- egg salad (1 egg, ff mayo, 1 T relish) w/4 wheat crackers L- 1/2 c ground beef, 3 packets of salsa (I forgot to bring my refried beans) and 4 cookies D- 3 oz grilled pork steak and 1/4 cup spinach I had the ingredients to make Truediva's muffins the weekend-didn't have a muffin pan:thumbdown:-threw it away this summer. Going to buy one or borrow mom's. Going to get the ingredients for Bloo's parm meatballs. I do have a crockpot. :thumbup:

    Sorry, Gone 4 ever, No takers here. I'm just happy that the "student from hell" didn't come today. He hasn't been here for 3 1/2 days. Must be my payback for being a "student from hell" when I was in school.:biggrin:

    I do snack and now I'm going to try and make it a protein snack (protein drink, etc). Maybe that will keep me full and from getting the 2nd snack. I had somewhat restriction but now I think I need a fill.
