My name is Joanne and I found Bariatric Pal while I was researching for my upcoming sleeve gastrectomy. This site was very helpful and everyone seemed very supportive. As I write this I am 2 days post-op. I think the pain level so far has been pretty tolerable, the only other surgery I can compare it to is my c-section. The only thing I am struggling with is the acid reflux feeling and getting the liquids down. It's hard at this point to take in all the liquids that they recommend for the day. I am looking forward to moving past this healing portion and beginning to enjoy life as it was intended to be :-)
