I'm in no way suggesting that you should do what I do. .I went 2 meals liquid and one small regular meal pre op. .Your gonna have liquid up to your eyes post op. .I'm 5 weeks post op and already tolerate regular food -

I'm one month post op and I've been using a straw since 1st week. .I don't recall being told not to use a straw. .Actually think I'm less apt to gulp using a straw rather than drink from a cup. .I sip. .incredible how much liquid one can consume by merely sipping. .But I wouldn't go against your docs advice. . -
Empty calories. .well maybe so. .then I'm gonna love me some empty calories in a few weeks! Thank you. .

Hi all...did I miss something? I see the post titled alcohol but no ones mentioning alcohol ..how long post op should I wait to try sipping a few...how long have you waited?

I see people post op posting that they're drinking decaf everything. .Is it because it's dangerous? Will it do damage to a newly sleeved stomach? What's the deal? I'm drinking decaf tea but I'm missing my coffee. .decaf coffee I cannot do. .blech. .
