I would love to give and swap my clothes with someone. I am in 30 and 28's at the moment. I do have some nice clothes. And I would rather give them to people that are like me then pass them off to good will where they will be snaged by the workers and not always the pople that need them.

Jack, My dad had one of those piles. When one of us kids had an anger outburst we had to chop wood. Wish I had one now. lol naw knowing me it would just sit there forever without dad making me. lol

Hey all, I was banded on the 19th of december, I am due in for my fill this wednesday the 23rd. I am really happy with my dr he seems pretty agressive about fills. I am nervious about it I am getting it done under fluro. but I dont really know what all that intales. I hope I dont have to drink that chalky stuff. ick OR WORSE THE BUBBLES but -
I havent used a baby spoon but I do use those smaller plastic spoons for everything. I think the bites are small ish. I will know better after my first fill wednesday.

I was banded on 12-19-7 by Dr Lusco! I also have to rave about his group It is a great program to get into. I also like the support group meetings. I go in for my first fill wednesday 1-23-8 I am a tad nervous It is with Floro I dont quite understand the difference but he said it would be better for me because I am larger and the port is deeper. So I am really excited.:girl_hug: I have to say that St. Marys is a great place to have your band done if your near Louisville. I am in New Albany.

I have been walking at the gym. Quite fast walking. 5 days a week and for the last 2 weeks I have been lifting weights. only 5lb dumbells but it is enough to tone a little. And last week I started on an ab machiene.

That is WAY too much to have at one time. spread your protein intake thru the day. Your body cant absorb that much protein at a time. And protein like anything else will deposit itself on your body as fat if it is not readily used. OR you will end up with the runs. 20-30 is all you should be having in ANY drink unless your a body builder.

I am prone to them. I havent had one since being banded. But I see a lot of people arround my work with them right now. So I think it may be the season for them. I have a percription pill that I take the first day of the cold sore and it cuts them down to less then a week. I travel with this pill. I should get a refill since I am thinking about it. -
I have been working out like crazy. I walk on the treadmil at the gym 5 times a week and I started lifting weights this week. ACK last night I tried this ab machiene where you kneel on it and twist your lower body. I only did 15 on each side @ 60 lbs of resistance. man I can feel them this morning. and it was kind of fun...except I am so large the thing you kneel on was a little small for my legs.

That is awsome! For me I had a dental apointment wednesday. and everyone in the office kept asking me if I had a hair cut. Because I looked really good. no hair cut or style...I like to think they noticed me losing weight in my face. woo hoo

That is a good idea. I had a trainer for a month who got me going on the machines and I have been doing it on my own for a while now. But what I want as a bonus is ONE session so someone could update my training and possibly give me new excercises to do.

I have to agree to look at the above site. This is a person who is newly banded and is having problems because of the gum that was accidently swallowed. You might want to think about it before chewing

I am staying on the plan because I LOST 5 LBS THIS WEEK!!!!! *happy dance* -
My dr said to take tums for the calcium. but I take Caltrate with Vitamin D. I prefer the taste of them so the tums are sitting in my cabnet with everything else I was told to get and didnt need. oh I have been taking the Caltrate for years for other issues and because My grandma has weak bones from calcium defiency. Dr and I thought it would be good to take them. I know some people take the calcium chocolate candy thing. not tums. so if you dont like the tums their are other options. Tums also counter act the birth control pill. I dont need that issue to deal with right now. lol

I talked to the trainers at my gym and they kept trying to set me up for like 6 months of work outs. I kept saying NO just ONE how much for ONE session. it was like pulling teeth from a shark. So I am thinking I might look arround for an individual instead of a group.

OK tracy I am a numbers girl. $150 is nothing compaired to the cost of what your eatting now...the bad stuff. Put on paper how much you HONESTLY spend on soda and eatting out and out of a vending machiene. If you were anything like me. You will save money by getting back on track. NO soda's they just make you hungry and dont do anything for you except make you gain weight, and lose teeth....the last was curticy of my dentist. lol So you cant afford NOT to go to the dr for a fill.

I actualy started lifting weights yesterday. trying to get toned! I also walked and am walking again tonight.

I try to get 90 grams of protein a day. I have a shake in the morning. I am just really bad about breakfast. So I was told to have a shake in the morning. It starts me off right.

Eww that sounds pretty gross. I would hate to have that paste in my mouth. lol I think it is because of the oils. rubber of any kind is broken down by oil. and what is gum but rubber and sugar.

I keep trying NOT to weigh myself every day but I do anyway I only mark it in my log once a week. but I am fluxuating between these 2 lbs. and the worst is if I have a bad food day the next morning I am still with in those 2 lbs it is hard not to mess up more.
