I havent dropped sizes. My pants are a bit baggy...but I cant fint into the next size smaller. I am WAY more active. but My legs are still swollen...just not as bad. Wow June is going to be an amazing month for you! so much to look forward to. -
My dr is also pretty agressive with fills. I get mine every 6 weeks. And my fills are HUGE I have a 14cc band and at the moment I have 10.5cc in the band. And amazingly enough I feel like I need another fill. my last fill was my smallest at 2.5cc.

I am staying on the plan today becauce I think I found a food plan that might work for me. -
Great Idea Stephanie, I am a budget freak. Maybe I will have to think of calories like money.

I was joking...lol...kinda...I am still in 28's I have some 26's but I dont think I have anythnig under that...and it makes me woried that I am going to have to work clothes into my budget. Thankfully my work is good about the casual dress. Office casual. If I had to be dressy I would be in trouble. lol

I am with you CC I have mental wars with my head on what food to eat. I am working on it. I hate HATE logging food. It makes me aware of what I am NOT eatting instead of what I am eatting. It is a mental thing for me. As for working out. I just do it. I dont really give myself an option. How I got started working out like crazy was I set a goal for myself. For me it was to be in the gym 10 times in 2 weeks. If I made that goal I had treats for myself. My friends boxed and wrapped $20 gifts for me. like gift certificates to movies my nails done. Things like that. NON FOOD rewards. So Every 2 weeks I had a gift if I made it to the gym. I started off small like just walking on the treadmill. Then I moved it up to lifting weights along with walking. Now I spend 2 hrs in the gym after work. I go more then 10 times in 2 weeks so this month I changed my goal. but my treat was a personal training session. So I am sore from working out with her. But motivated by doing things I thought I couldnt do. I hope it helps.

PB is a Productive Burp. It is when you are full and kinda stuck and you burp and it is kind of like a vomit...but none of the stomach acids. Kind of regurgitation. But you puke it out. Slime is when your stuck and you keep producing that thick saliva. We call it slime. Because it is thick. and it is suposed to help the stuck go thru...but it actually piles back in our throat. Hope that helps.

EXTREME tightness after long exercise session?
Cerrin replied to losingjusme's topic in Fitness & Exercise
After 4 miles on the elliptical (about an hour) I can FEEL the Water going down. So I just drink slow. as for food I usually wait for about 2 hours after working out to eat anything. If I am dying of hunger I will have a Protein shake. I figure it is healthy. has some carbs from the milk and has protein to heal anything I may of hurt. And it eases the hunger. Good luck with the mini. -
I bought mine from Lane Bryant catalog...Or Just my Size... It was only about 20 dollars and hold up really good.
-
I do mine after work. If I plan for mornings I will find too many excuses why I cant do it or had to cut it short. I slept in too late. too sweaty before work...Tons of excuses I bring my clothes to work and directly after work I go work out. THEN go home.
-
lol I have no problem with scrambled eggs...yet. Bread I do...Toast I can handle though. I dont buy it because I dont eat it fast enough.

For swim suits this year I have a tankini from last year. I altered the top to hold my boobs better. Simple hand sew adjustment nothing major. and I am getting a bunch of new bottoms. in different sizes. For me the bottoms are what goes. I think it has to do with sitting on the pools edge and stuff. I live at the Water park in the summer. So I have to have suits. lol I highly recoment alterinig suits to fit. lol My first suit I altered was a swim dress. I loved that suit but it was too hard to get in and out of when wet. So I detached the panties and made seperate bottoms. It worked out great! covered everthing and was easy to use. I cant wait till I go on my cruise. You have to keep me updated on yours. -
Connie, I have to say that it seems like your eatting well. I wouldnt beat yourself up over 2 oreo's Are you making sure not to drink with meals? And I didnt add your calories but if you have too few calories it can hamper too.

ME! you can send them to me...lol I am so bad with clothes. The pants I wear to work. I have 2 safty pins so they dont fall down lol

Val, I dont think I am losing inches. But I havent measured myself to compair. I cant really tell that my pants are feeling loser or anything. My bra fits better. But not lose or anything. I saw a program on public TV Saturday that was about 12 people from various levels of fitness starting a runniing program. The goal was to run the boston marathon. It was really neat they talked about how effective the heart is after working out for a few weeks and how much more effective the muscles get. It was really neat to see. They also talked about this one lady who was 70lbs over weight and how she had lost 40lbs during this training and how she thougt with all the running how pounds should be dropping off her. And they talked about how excercise maintains body muscle and improves health and increases metabolism but only diet will make you drop lbs. It was interesting to hear. They talked about how runners run because they can eat whatever they want. and maintain their weight

Band, You dont want an adjustment if you are losing 2 lbs a week because you dont want your food too restricted...then you would have problems getting enough calories in. then you could stop losing all together. I love Dr Lusco! He is Awesome! OK and for insurance. I had a 90% coverage on first 10,000 and 80% on second 10,000 after deductable. I had a deductable of 500 for the year. When I had the surgery I had like 300 left to pay. At time of surgery I had to pay something like 360 Then everything else is paid after surgery and St Marys put me on a payment plan. I have about 1200 to pay after surgery. and I can make monthly payments. Hope that helps you out a bit.

Chris how are you doing this month? -
My nutritionist says to eat till your full. That is what I do. She said the restriction will gradually help with how much keeps us full. That is what I am counting on. I have some restriction but only with certain foods. thick bread and pork chops. everything goes down fine.

Damn fast food!

I started the Elliptical March first Now April 18 I am at one hour 60 minutes Do what you can today. Then tomorrow make a goal to do AT LEAST that much. Today you can do 2 minutes fine tomorrow shoot for 3 or 4 Just keep at it. You can do it. Muscles have memory. They remember being fit. You are more likely to get back to that fitness level quicker then someone that was never fit.

OK My family has history of high blood pressure. To combat this we meditate. I would sugest (to someone that dosent meditate) The day of your next BP visit Take a half day. Bring a book or video game. Or magizine. Something that relaxes you. And just go into the office planning for a good outcome. Positive attitude will help keep BP lower. Dont let yourself get worked up. Deep breaths. I would try it out on the walmart BP machienes. lol To see if you can lower it this way before scheduling an apointment. Good luck
