    A question for the ladies

I have to disagree with this statement I am a DDD I have not been able to find lots of great bras. Period. Sports or otherwise. The only bra I like has stopped making DDD. I am hoping to be down to a DD soon so I can buy a new bra. But because my boos are always the first thing to get biger and the last thing to shrink I think I am stuck for a while. ugg

    Most Remarkable Changes?

Beth, Be patient. keep eatting like you should and Try to get a work out in. Heck take them with you to the park and play frisby, Fly a kite, go for a bike ride, Play Tag. All of that is excercise. but fun for kids. I work out at the gym because it is easier for me. When my friends want to hang out I try to get them to meet me for a game of frisby or catch. something that is not sitting in fromt of a TV or food. Excercise is easy if you think outside of the gym. Way to go Fanny! I think that is awsome!

    Anyone not feel restriction yet?

I finally have restriction. Fill number 4 got me good restriction. Hopefully it will last. I am tight in the morning. But I eat a boiled egg anyway. I stay away from liquid meals because my dr is very against them. So I am super happy about the restriction. Finally! I have to say I was very worried that this was not going to work for me. But I guess I just needed to be patient. Chris, I hope you have a blast in Alaska. My parents were there last year and loved it. Be aware that everything is SUPER expensive there. But Have fun. and Be careful of those nasty spiders.

    What do you eat??

After my last fill I have awsome restriction. Yesterday I had 1 boiled egg (ate very very slowly) Worked out for 2 hours, Had a bunch of Water, Then Went out with friends and had 1 yes ONE taco And for dinner I had a VERY very small amount of an asian noodle dish with shrimp and chicken and veggies. (third time I have ate on a single protion serving and still have some left for today) I try to get my water in BEFORE meals. If I am super thirsty after a meal I will take a super small sip and hold it in my mouth.

    Most Remarkable Changes?

It is totaly weird for me that I dont feel right when I DONT excercise. And the amount of food I bring home when I go out to eat. Also the fact that I can make the deserts and bread for family and work and not feel like I have to "save" some for myself to eat. I just bring the whole thing and If I get some I get some..It is not a big deal to me any more.

    3 wheel adult bicycles

I bought my mom one. She cant balance due to 2 artificial legs. But wanted to be able to ride arround with her grandkids. So I bought her one and she loves it. she can go to the grocery store with out any help. and they dont have to buy gas just to drive to the store. Makes her more independent. She told me people always want to know where she got it, because they want one.
  15. My doctor told me If I am going to have a yougart I need to add some solid food to it. Like fruit or granola. He saud because it is a mushy food it slips right thru the band and we dont stay hungry as long. But Hey Chris! atleast you figured out how to get it moving again!

Turns out that I am crazy

  18. I have wanted to get a belly dancing one. (video) But didnt know which one would work the best for me. So I rented a few and had each one for about a week trying them. Then decided which one would work best for me. They have so many different things it is a great place to try out videos. I work out on the Elliptical in the gym. And lift weights. I paid for a training session so the trainer could show me how to lift correctly and which machienes to do. I highly sugest it. Oh and for people who are too embarased to be seen in public in a swim suit. My personal outlook on it is. F them if they dont like what they see they can look somewhere else. I love the pool and the Water park. NOTHING is going to keep me away from doing and going where I want to do.
  19. If you want to try a new work out video before buying it. Netflix rents them

A question for all the runners.

I think you should ask your doctor. They know your issue not us. For me. I thought walking on th treadmil was the best for me. My dr told me it was the worst thing I could do for MY body. He sugested I do either the bike or the elliptical. I chose the Elliptical. But he told me NOT to do the treadmill or I was running the risk of damaging my joints. That is ME. Your doctor will know YOU. Good luck and bing skinny is great and all. but not if your stuck in a bed for weeks because you thrw out your back.
  21. Holy Moly 67miles! WOW! You are so my hero. wow 67 miles. *speechless*

    Spring Allergies

Hope this helps explain what a neti pot does. Nasal irrigation is a personal hygiene practice which involves flooding the nasal cavity with warm saline solution (salt water). The goal of nasal irrigation is to clear out excess mucus and particulates and moisturize the nasal cavity. Either a fluid-filled syringe or a neti pot can be used. The practice has been subjected to clinical testing and has been found to be safe and beneficial, with no apparent side effects. The saline solution irrigation and nasal flush promotes good nasal health. It can be used by patients with chronic sinusitis including symptoms of facial pain, headache, halitosis, cough, anterior rhinorrhea (watery discharge), and one study has even reported that nasal irrigation was “just as effective at treating these symptoms as the drug therapies.”[3][dubious – discuss] In other studies, “daily hypertonic saline nasal irrigation improves sinus-related quality of life, decreases symptoms, and decreases medication use in patients with frequent sinusitis,[2]” and irrigation is recommended as an “effective adjunctive treatment of chronic sinonasal symptoms.”[4][5] Nasal irrigation is reputed to help prevent colds and otherwise promote good nasal health by cleaning out the nasal passages and helps alleviate stuffiness, dryness and the symptoms of allergies.[citation needed]. For those who suffer from chronic sinusitis, nasal irrigation is a quick and inexpensive way to promote ciliary function and mucus turnover, decrease edema, and improve drainage through the sinus ostia. To summarize, nasal irrigation can purportedly: Clear out sticky, persistent mucus and help reduce nasal congestion Cleanse and rid the sinus cavities of allergens, irritants, and contaminants Treat chronic sinusitis Treat acute bacterial rhinosinusitis[2] Treat allergic rhinitis Prevent common colds and flu Relieve nasal dryness Promote healthy nasal passages Treat empty nose syndrome (a crippled nose caused by over-aggressive turbinate resection) Improve breathing Reduce coughing and other symptoms of post-nasal drip Temporarily reduce symptoms of phantosmia Generally improve sinus health. Yogic breathing practices known as pranayama are enhanced by the practice of jala neti since many of them involve deep breathing through the nostrils. Other benefits practitioners may notice: Vision is clearer. Jala neti will clean the tear ducts, enabling better cleaning and moistening of the eyes. Improved sense of smell Improved sense of taste Deeper, more relaxed breathing
