  1. You look amazing!! I'm 5'2" and my starting weight was 208lbs. I'm 29yrs old. I soooo hope my skin looks as good as yours. Did you have any plastic surgery? I've also had 2 pregnancies so I may not be so lucky.

    Incision Infection

I'm no doctor but I am a nurse and that does not look okay to me. He should have at least prescribed some type of wound care. Wound cleanser, dressing changes, antibiotic ointment, something along those lines. It just looks really dark and deep. Maybe try your primary care physician if the surgeon continues to ignore the issue.

    How Many Days/nights In Hospital?

I was only in the hospital for 23hrs. They told me I would probably be there for 2-3 days before I had the surgery but I did better than expected. I changed into my own clothes immediately after I got out of recovery. Pain was controlled. No nausea. My intake was good and I was walking like crazy so they said I could go.

    Marriage Problems 2 Mo. Out

My advice is this.... Cut this guy out of your life completely. I don't care how financially difficult it may be. Imagine the financial difficulties you will have after a divorce. You cannot move on and get over this guy with him still in your life. Right now you are vulnerable and he is also by going through a divorce. It's exciting and new and I'm sure the new attention is flattering but this is clouding your judgement. If he is doing this to his wife don't think for a minute he wouldn't do it to you also. You are going to continue to be unhappy with your husband as long as your comparing him to this guy and I'm sure you have built this guy up in your head and put him on a pedestal, over looked his flaws because it's new and exciting. You are picturing a fantasy life with this guy when in reality if you lived with him he probably snores, farts a lot, doesn't help with the housework, is working all the time, has spoiled brat children and a crazy mother, and an ex wife who took all his money! Just something's to think about.
  6. I was just about to post a thread nearly identical to yours. I am exactly one week post op and I feel horrible. I am so weak and fatigue so easily. Then I see all these people posting about how GREAT they feel and I just want to cry. I doing ok with the fluids but the protein is what is hard for me. The protein shakes make me want to puke and I actually liked them before surgery. I have tried the unflavored protein in soups and I couldn't stomach it. I tried the fruity flavored protein powder with crystal light and it made me want to puke. At this point I don't even have the energy to care for my children let alone return to work. On top of all that is already going on I have a cough, diarrhea ( I guess I overdid it on the stool softener) and I stiff neck ( feels like I pulled a muscle) so I can hardly get any sleep. I'm just trying to choke down the protein shakes everyday but I am really really having a hard time.

    November buddies where are you?

I had surgery on the 6th. I wasn't nervous until they rolled me into the surgery room. Then I was only awake for maybe 3 min and the next thing I know I was in recovery in quite a bit of pain. After the got my morphine pca hooked up I was good. I got to go home the next day because I was doing so well. Very little nausea and good pain control and oral intake. Today I feel achy all over and have an aversion to most food. I can only drink water, protein shakes and Popsicles. It hurts if I drink more than a tiny sip. The worst part has been the liquid pain meds. I nearly throw up every time I take it. No regrets so far. I would do it again tomorrow if I had to.
