Thank you for your input, I know u mean well . I'm happy, I just keep thinking about my loose skin and if it was gone, I'd feel better, then again I think, if I lose 10 more pounds would it help my loose skin, which I know it won't.

Thank you all for the great suggestions and replies. I have to stop this anxiety and be happy where I've got. Gbat- you're right, being type one diabetic and hardly taking insulin and all those other meds I used to take says it all. Things r starting to make sense now

Maybe you're right, ok you are, lol. It's just so hard when you're obese you're entire life to set your mind set. I think I'm going to focus more on strength training and go from there. Thank you

Any Houston TX sleevers.. Who's your surgeon?

So when are we all getting together ?? ???? -
Hello , so I've been sleeved for 1 1/2 years, lost 92 pounds and never made my goal of 150, which was 8 pounds, I kept bouncing btw 158-162, I gained some pounds over the holidays, now I'm 166. Kinda down about that. I've always been stressed and obsessed with each thing I stick into my mouth, until about a few weeks ago, so I admit that it's my fault. My question is this, how did u get your last 15-20 pounds off, I don't believe in liquid diet only because it's kinda non sense now. I'm going back to basics, 1000 cals, 30 carbs, 80 protein and cardio, but is there something else anyone would recommend to me? I feel like I am missing something??

Last 20 pounds...
TheNewSusie replied to TheNewSusie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thank you Linda. I track from time to time on MFP, once I got closer to goal I stopped. And I never messed up until recently (holidays) and I feel bummed out. I know what to do, and your input truly puts everything into perspective. I just feel like ill never get these 15-20 pounds off and feeling down. I plan to get back on track starting now and hopefully that will do the trick. I'm happy to say I'm a size 4/6 but I can't believe how fast I gained 9 pounds ! Blah! Lol -

Awesome! Let me know if u like them. If not I'm going to have to do something with them because I paid too much for them lol. I was a 20/22 and it took me 1 1/2 years. -
I'm not sure what's going on but is it normal to gain weight on 5:2? I'll admit I didn't do the greatest Christmas Eve and day but I also didn't do horrible, a few bites of this and that but I'm up 8 pounds and it's making me crazy. Really worried and not sure this is for me. My sugar also drops a lot and I wake up shaking in the middle of the night and grab a protein bar or some crackers to being it back up. I feel like a failure.

Hey to those who know me and those who don't, it's been a long road and a wonderful chapter in my life to have my sleeve. I'm so greatfull! Never is this easy, especially for a certified chef who loves everything about food. I was sleeved by the famous G. Alvarez in Piedras Negras, MX and I loved every second of it! Couldn't be happier with my choice. I'm down 93 pounds and currently a size 4/6. I'm engaged now and hoping to plan my wedding soon. Here's a few pictures. Hope this helps anyone in doubt. -
