Hey Sammie, I love it but I also love Houston, it's hard to think of leaving everyone and everything. It's for a great reason but it still gets to me, we shall see what happens . First I want to get sleeved and lost weight.
-
New Orleans is like my second home. I'm there every month visiting my boyfriend. Hope to be there for good in a year or so.

They really need to take it off the market.

Oh for sure, anytime Hun. It affects everyone differently but the added hormones really screwed me up. I just wanna be normal lol. Best of luck to you
-
D1, I chose para guard cuz there r no added hormones or expected weight gain. Mirena has hormones just like depo did and I didn't wanna risk more gaining. My periods are normal. I get them and sometimes I don't, I really wanted something that I didn't have to think about taking each day, having my cycle wasn't a concern for me.

Hey Lissa, as far as last year it was. I'm so glad I stopped taking it when I did. I heard of weight gain but didn't think it was going to be so much...

I really regret ever being on it. It's the worst thing invented lol

TheNewSusie replied to Piplula's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
So funny how it's the little things like straws and gulping water/drinks are my biggest worries. I too use a straw with everything I drink.... Stressful LoL -
I've gained like 30 and it's driving me nuts because it's do hard to lose now. I know my sleeve will work with me I just get obsessed with how much I've gained. I honestly don't care about having my cycle, I did it more so I dont have to think about taking something daily. I now have the para guard IUD and I love it so far.
-
Hey slim, thanks for ur remarks. I had to get off of it too because of the bad side effects. Wow 18 months, thanks for that info. Hope it doesn't affect me when I get my sleeve .

Kinda of like a grab and go for us... But small, healthy, and tasty and of course made from scratch.

Can't Tolerate My Protein Shakes - Help!
TheNewSusie replied to kmbrlycool's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Why don't u try adding in some sugar free syrup or instant decaf coffee? If u like frappuccinos that's a great way to go. U can always add something to try to take away that "taste". Hope this helps ! -
Anyone Wanna Do A 7-Day Paleo Challenge With Me?
TheNewSusie replied to BlackBerryJuice's topic in Food and Nutrition
I haven't had my sleeve yet but I did a 30 day raw food/ vegan diet and it was awesome... I lost 10 pounds and u honestly don't feel hungry when u cleanse ur body like this. It gives u so much energy and really changes how u feel inside. If u have a whole foods market around they have several options for raw/vegans. You can get protein in several ways too. -
You can crush the pills and add them to ur water or shake. I make sure I get the hard crushable pills to crush. Vita fusion chewables taste pretty good too. They also carry many forms of B12 liquid form u can try.

I take biotin and prenatal pills. U would be surprised what prenatal pills do for you whether u r pregnant or not.
