  1. Hi my name is Jessica, I had my surgery on sept 4th. The weight loss has never been a problem up until now. I've even incorporated the gym lightly and so far I've been stuck at a weight for about a week and a half. I've lost 37lbs total so far but why the stall so soon? It makes me discouraged because I feel like I'm doing everything right but without the weight loss it makes me question myself. I know it's normal for the weight loss to slow down, but this is not slowing down, it came to a stop! Is this normal...? Or should I be calling my doctor? Please help!!

    Stuck pill

Everyone is different but I had a horrible experience with pills... After my surgery I had to take pills daily... Shortly after surgery with in the first week I could not eat or drink anything without barfing up foam for three days. My doc ordered an endoscopy to find a pill that was not dissolved and blocking thjngs from going down. I had to switch all my medications to liquid form.
  3. I had my surg sept 4th... I had a hernia repair as well. I'm doing well, just signed up for the gym last week... I can only last 30 mins there before I get pretty tired. I'm still having trouble with keeping all my meals down... Wondering if it's cuz I'm eating too fast? Or if these a real problem such as stenosis? My doctor wants to do an endoscopy in a couple weeks if I don't see improvement. I was vomiting every meal but now I'm down to just vomiting one meal... I'd say things are getting better with time.

    Pills

I had a horrible experience with pills... Three days after my surg a pill was not dissolving in my new stomach and was blocking everything from going down. I could not tolerate any food or liquid... I would vomit up foam all the time. Finally my doctor decided to do an endoscopy thinking it was stenosis to find the pill stuck. I had to try crushing or breaking pills in half, but that still was scary. I decided to change all my medications to liquid form. It doesn't taste the greatest but I know that it's better than taking a pill that might get stuck.
  5. I'm about a little over a month out of surgery struggling with not keeping solids down... I keep liquids down and some other stuff like cottage cheese and applesauce...but a lot of the time I'm throwing up after I eat. I have a feeling that I'm eating too fast but My surgeon also wants to do an endoscopy... But if it was stenosis, wouldn't I not be able to hold anything down?
