  1. Great to hear huni, just remember no two ppl are the same all our journeys will be different, take the rough days with the smooth and remember tomorrow is always coming x
  2. Sorry but I find most of these replies far too negative, I am now almost 2 yrs post bypass, it took us all a long time to get into the state we were pre op, its not going to be an overnight job to shift it and anyone who goes into surgery thinking it's a magic wand is talking outta their butt! I have had many struggles on my post op journey, I was rushed into hospital at 4months post op when I nearly died!! but I can ASSURE you there is light at the end of that tunnel, I was a depressed, sometimes suicidal 27st woman before my op, it was all I could do just to haul myself up in the mornings... now almost 2 yrs on I am happy, healthy and full of confidence, I am seeking employment for the first time in 16yrs because finally I have the confidence to do it!! it is true in the early days your body rebels and mourns the food it wants you to give it, its stomach surgery NOT brain surgery after all, yes bits will droop and sag but if thats the only price I have to pay to be able to watch my kids grow up, have children of their own? Hell I'll gladly put up with it...our wobbly bits are testament to our journey, be proud of them not ashamed! Where those wobbles with pride ladies and gentlemen and be safe in the knowledge that it DOES get better just follow the advice of your health professionals and take it one day at a time, you must learn to walk before you can run. BE POSITIVE! xxx
