Thank you no meds and I have faith that you can do it also! True we only know each other by our posts but going through this makes you and I and all the others have a bond no one else does. Unless you've had this surgery then you will not understand! I was told recently by someone that I Waste a lot of food ! This person is in the process of having this surgery and like I told her you don't understand it your there! Til your there

I know one med I can't seem to get it all in! Water protein etc... You need to eat but then I can't drink for an hour and half after etc etc! I have been trying to get as much protein as I can in!

I am only at 77 lbs since dec 12th so you are doing fabulous. I exercise but not as much as I should and if I would do it more often my weight would come off faster.

Some days I struggle and then others not so much! I think my pouch is moody! Lol I Need to figure out other things to eat besides beans... Any ideas???? I can eat sweets but only to a certain extent then it makes me sick.. Which I am kinda glad it keeps me in check. The only meat I can really eat is hamburger meat but I have to have mayo or mustard on it. Tomorrow we are having shrimp so that should be ok! I struggle to find things that I can tolerate

I don't flat iron my hair Amy and that could be what's happening to make some of it fall out! I use nexius shampoo and conditioner and then an anti frizz leave in conditioner then blow dry

Well pooh I have seen some come out and I am 4 months out. But several years ago I had a metabolic change and my hair grew thin . So if I started losing a lot now I would definitely be bald.

I am now fitting into my "old" smaller clothes and even they are somewhat baggy! I am down four sizes and 77 lbs and it's moving off of my body slowly.... I have got to get a move on with my workouts meaning more than 1 it 2 times a week! Nevertheless, I have my old shorts I can wear for summer and hopefully I will be buying more soon!!!!

Yes I have to go to the dr at those intervals but he is all I see. I have to make appts with our nutritionist! I do focus on protein water vitamins etc

I have really been ok with the sweets except I had a coconut snowcone two days in a row and I have to say it was heavenly but I felt like pooh after! will I have another this summer prolly but it weigh everyday so if I do gain I will know!!!! I still have 90 lbs before I am where I want my ultimate goal!

You mention withering away and I guess I don't have that fear. My fear I think comes from the fact that I CAN eat a small amount of sweets AND carbs!

One of my fears is that I will be able to eat things and get big again. I don't want that! Yes I do get a lot out of this forum but I would like to be able to attend meetings I think it would be a great help.

Yes and it would be great to have it in my area but I don't have time to host it! I work three part time jobs!

Nothing because my dr is 2 hrs away from here and I cannot go to meetings.

I lose more when I exercise otherwise I stall out! I have around 70 lbs more I need to lose!

Mine is about that also! Starting my gym workout tomorrow and I can't wait! Walked a mile tonight should've been longer but it's better than nothing.

Unfortunately I can tolerate carbs really well which kinda sucks bit sometimes it just gives me something different. Ground meat as long as it has gravy or some juice is ok but dry meat ain't happening!!!!

I have been struggling to get all of my water in and all of my protein. I think I need to go back to drinking a lot more protein drinks because I don't think I can get it with food.

Lilly is the Greek yogurt ok with the strawberries in it because I do not like the taste of it by itself?

I feel like the further I am out the worse I get on what I can eat! Beans are very good but meat is uh uh! I feel like I am going backwards I don't know?

Well I'm three months out and chicken or it seems like most meat except hamburger is NOT happening. I was thinking since it's not actual meat it might sit well. I am wondering will we ever be able to eat rice at all??? Any rny vets out there have the answer. I know we shouldn't have a lot of carbs but sometimes it would be nice to have a smidgeon.
