Hey.........my name is Jay from Phoenix. I was 383 and a now am 358 and I am scheduled for surgery 8/16. My doc put me on a protein shake (huh) diet that I've been on for a week and still 1 week to go before surgery. I've been told by other bandsters that some docs don't require the shakes and allow real food up to the day before,aka "the last meal". What was the case for your surgery/doc? Thanks.....Jay
