Ha! I like your sense of humor. That made me laugh. I needed that right about now! I would rather come home if I can. The nurses bug the mess out of you during the night and I wont get much sleep. That's how it was with the lapband. So we shall see. All depends on how I feel. I did stay the night after my lapband surgery because I was so tired from it and didnt come out of surgery until 4. So I think this time it should hopefully go better. Thanks alot for your prayers. I need them right now. :nervous

Tell me about it Kathy! I went to the Nutritionist this morning and I was 178!!! I was so mad! I gained 2 pounds this month. I do go for Gallbladder surgery on Thursday the 12th at 10:30am. Please keep me in your prayers. I am so nervous about this. I am losing an organ! Part of me will be gone forever! lol I am ready for it to get out of me and stop hurting. It's a pain in the butt. Well I need to get my butt busy and organized too. I may do a lot of that this week since I will be down for a little while after surgery. Oh well, I will get back to exercising sometime this year. Ok I am off of here, children want to go jump on the trampoline. I may get on and make them bounce around a bit. ttyl! Angie

Oh CRAP! hmm... Do I have to start today? lol Let's see. I had a glass of milk for Breakfast then I had a Protein bar one of those Q-smart ones then some chicken salad with reg mayo and pickles with some sundried wheat thins then another Protein Bar then dinner a chicken leg with veggies that consisted of bell peppers and onions and a snack of Kashi ceral with 2% milk some tea with reg sugar... I need to stop that. And of course my Water. Not to shabby... I feel like I ate a horse today. I so need a fill!

Yeah, We just had the same thing come through here in Lake Wylie. It was weird and my girls were hiding. lol They are silly! I think that would be awesome to get some snow! I would love it anyways. My oldest daughter got a snowboard for christmas and is going ape S@#& to use it. (sorry threw a bad word in there) Angie

It really helps to hear others say what good progress I am doing. Especially after the holidays. I feel like porker right now because I wasnt eating right. Awesome on the date Janet! I hope it stays and you are banded soon. That would be awesome. I did have a great New year. I am over the holidays and ready to get back to normal. Ok, I am posting my six month progress. I can't wait to see it side by side. It will be awesome to see it. I am so loving my band and what it has done for me so far. I still have another 50 to go and June is fast approaching. I haven't had a fill yet but I am looking forward to that in January after gallbladder surgery. YAY! Angie AKA bondgirl

Yay! Everything is almost back to normal around here. I am so over the holidays. I felt so overwhelmed and had a hard time with the eating thing and no exercise. Kids got back to school today and my DH goes back to work on Thursday. I go see Dr. B. on Friday and I am sure will find out when my surgery is. I hate it that I have to do this but it has to be done. Just one of those things you know? Oh well there could be worse things. I just hate that I have to start out the New Year like this. IT SUCKS! And I ate my Black Eyed Peas too. You would have thought good luck would have came my way? lol But just wanted to say Hello and Happy New Year to all of you. I can't wait to see you girls at the end of January. Hopefully I am all recovered and ready to go by then. I will keep you updated. Ah, It's so good to be back to normal around here! Angie

Welcome aboard Denika! Dr. B did my surgery as well. He is also getting ready to take my wonderful Gallbladder out (that thing is killing me) . I had mine done in June and I have lost 50 pounds as well. I am stuck and cant seem to get more going. I need to get this exercising thing going. Congrats on your 50 pounds, keep up the great work. It sure does make you feel better doesnt it? I go to see Dr. B on Friday, when do you go see Diane again? I love the nutritionist program. I see her Friday as well. But I think I lost maybe a pound over the holidays. Let me know if you need anything and please come to Friday's on the 28th, we are a hoot I gotta tell ya! Angie

Hey Janet! It is great to see a new South Carolina person on here! It has been like a ghost town here! lol Welcome to the site and hello from Upstate! I am in the Lake Wylie area about 20 minutes from Charlotte NC. We have a great group of girls on the NC thread that I go up and visit when we have our meetings. Maybe one day you can come up and visit. Good luck with your surgery. I had mine back in June and I have lost 50 pounds. It's been hard this holiday, I havent lost much at all! :mad: I need to get back on the band wagon so to speak and get busy! Ok, Let me know how you do ok? Angie

Thanks Kim! I still have a lot to lose but I am thankful for the 50 pounds I have lost. I am so ready for the New Year to start so I can get this gallbladder out of me and get to recovering and being able to exercise again. My Doctor said six weeks of no exercise after this surgery! YUK! I am going to have to eat well and get a fill. I hope everyone has a Happy New Year. And do any of you have a New, New year resolution since we already have the weight loss under control now? lol My New Year resolution will be to spend more time with my kids and go outside and play with them. I am going to ditch the weight loss one this year! Angie

Yes I exercise and it makes a big difference. I wasnt able to exercise hardly at all last month and only lost 3 pounds. When I have exercised the other months its been a good 8 to 10 pounds lost. So keep moving and exercise everyday.

Wow, I leave for a while and have a bunch to catch up on. Christmas was great! We are in Va right now and will be heading home in the morning, thank god! I am exhausted!!!! I went to the Doctor today because I had a really bad gallbladder attack after lunch on Saturday. It lasted until 3am Sunday morning. It was very painful and I had a lot of belching with it. I am going for an ultrasound tomorrow to check on it and to see what is going on. I may have to have surgery to get it removed. I sure hope that isnt the case. I don't want to have to go through another surgery. My side is still hurting and I am on a bland diet this evening and then fasting until after the ultrasound. Wish me luck! Angie

They check the liver function by taking blood. They took out about 6 viles of blood to check all my stats. It was crazy I tell ya! I was woozy. Dr. B can do it and will schedule it after the holidays. He is a great Surgeon and I respect him very much. I feel very comfortable now knowing he can do this for me. Just hope and pray my gallbladder stays fine until after the 2nd of January. Angie

Shew, dodged that bullet! I dont have to have surgery today. My liver function looks a lot better now!!! YAY! Ok we are off to go watch King Kong. WOOT! TTYL!

Ok well I saw Dr. B today and he sent me for a stat on my liver function. I am sitting here right now on pins and needles waiting to see if I am going to have SURGERY today! YEs you heard it! Surgery today! If my liver function is still elevated he is going to want to have me under the knife today and have it out. If now then we will be able to wait until after the holidays. Please wish me luck with this. I am so anxious it is killing me!!!!! Angie

Congrats on being banded! I knew Dr. B would take great care of you. Follow what Dianne told you to do with the liquids. I followed the directions to the T and I lost a good 17 pounds in those two weeks. It is tough and it is hard but you will make it. Drink your Protein every hour and sip on Water and drink the chicken broth. I also had won ton Soup from chinese restaurant and took the won ton's out. That was really good.
