This is awesome! I have been around here since March of last year and I am so happy to start seeing some SC people come on here. Good job to the both of you for your weight loss! That is awesome! It will just keep getting better and better. I have lost 52 pounds since June. It is an awesome feeling. We may need to find somewhere to meet. I wonder how far everyone is from each other? I am in the Piedmont of SC, I am about 20 minutes from Charlotte. I have lived here for 4 years now and love it. Alright well keep me posted on your progress lets keep talkin! Angie

I had mine done back in June and have lost 52 pounds so far. I have 50 more that I want to get rid of and will be getting my first fill next month. It is so exciting to see the changes in yourself and you are going to do great. Let me know if you would like to join us in Concord for lunch this Saturday. Wow Kim! I am so sorry to hear about Curtis. I pray the surgery goes well and he comes out of it fine. Poor little man has had a time of it? The incisions were actually smaller than the lapband one's and I bounced back quicker. I couldn't believe it. Good luck on your move to Charleston! It would be nice to get a group going in South Carolina. Once in a while I wouldnt mind traveling to meet some people. Let me know if you can get people together and I will come. Nah, No popping staples now! Thank goodness they will be out tomorrow in time for the games this weekend! Cause I am afraid girls they would all come out! lol I so love the PANTHERS! WOOT! I went out last night with some friends to Baileys in Pineville and sang some Karaoke. I love doing that. But I was singing this one song that has a long note in it and something popped in my throat and I screamed. It hurt like h E double hockey sticks!!! Man, my throat still hurts from it. :eek: <love that> Hopefully it will cure up for tomorrow. Hopefully you are back to work tomorrow Melissa. Sorry about you coughing so much, I am sure that doesnt feel good. Thank goodness I havent been to terribly sick since I have gotten this band in me. Not sure how that feels. Get better. Melissa, How is Karah doing? I hope all is going well with her. I have been thinking about her. Kim, How is little Curtis and his ears? Poor little guy has been through it! How is everyone else? I havent seen Kathy around much lately! WHERE ARE YOU KATHY! I tell ya, I went through this surgery and I have lost 5 pounds! Yeah, since Thursday! That freaking rocks! I about jumped through the floor upstairs when I got on the scale! :clap2: FUN FUN! I also about popped a staple out last night jumping up and down for the Panthers WIN! OMG that was an awesome game. I love me some football girls! Yes I grew up with a bunch of boys and have learned all I can about the sport and even played powder Puff football in high school. lol I was the Kicker! But I was so happy last night about the game. We are having a party here next weekend to watch them play in SEATTLE! I so can't wait. I love this time of year. WOOT! But I am staying so freaking :hungry: it isnt funny! I can eat a horse I believe. :help: I will get my fill next month after all this surgery stuff is healed up. Then I can start losing again. Hey Janet, How are things coming along with you? I hope the tye dye went well! lol I have one of those 6 year olds you are talking about and they can sure be a handful! Guess what I had to do! I had gallbladder surgery on Thursday! WOOT! Let me tell ya, it was very easy! I can't believe how well I am feeling after going under like that. Pretty crazy stuff. They said its the rapid weight loss that did it to me. So... Oh well. It is out of me and I am feeling much better. I hope you are coming along well on your lapband journey. Keep me informed on what is going on and if there are any questions I can answer. I am full of answers I guess! I will try my best. Angie

Hey I am doing great thanks! I have been up and about without pain meds for two days now. I feel really good. This was such an easy procedure! I can't believe how I have done with it compared to the Lap-band. I have 5 incisions on my belly with small little holes. He did a rockin job and I so love Dr. B. He is great! Thanks for checking on me. I appreciate it. Angie GO PANTHERS!

Thanks everyone. I am a bit sore but that is to be expected. I have slept most of the day today. Hopefully I can hold off on the meds tomorrow. They make me sleep to much. :notagree Ok just wanted to update you. Going to go walk around the house a bit and get the stiffness out. TTYL! Angie

Hey Girls, Thanks for the well wishes. I just got home around 8:30pm and i am doing fine. A bit sore but ok. It's not as bad as the lapband. Weird huh? So far that is. Dr B wasnt able to do my surgery until after 12 because the surgery he had in front of me had a hard time. So I was on pins and needles. But I am doing great. A bit tired still so I am going to lay down and go to sleep. Thanks again for checking up on me. I will update more tomorrow.

Hey Girls, Real quick. I am running around like a chicken with her head cut off. My surgery is tomorrow at 9:20am. They moved it up so thats a good thing to get it done and over with. It's out patient and I will be home tomorrow night. OK, Gotta go children needing to pack up there things. They are spending the night with a neighbor because I have to be out of here at 6 to get up to concord in time. They want me there two hours early. I will update you when I get home. Thanks, Angie

I don't believe it is Kathy. I took mine up there and had prints done for 29 cent a photo. Not sure how much the disc would be though? Good Job on getting things done. I will get more motivation after this surgery is complete. I am just thinking of that right now. :S Angie
