I had to participate in a supervised diet for six months per my in insurance company.1month lost 4 lbs ,2 month gained half lb, 3rd month gained 2 lbs. 4Th month gained 2 lbs, 5th month lost 15 lbs 6Th month Next weigh in this monday looks like a 5 to 7 lb lost 5'8" SW 280lbs Total gained 8lbs Total lost 22lbs What is your opinion? Nurse is saying that I could defiantly be denied. I lost 5% of my excess weight. I just yo yoed. So much anxiety, If I was a perfect dieter I would not be in this shape

Please find a bariatric facility. They are usually have a umbrella / one bill billing technique, meaning one price covers everything from nutritional, psy,doctor and surgery. You usually have to start with attending a free seminar where they educate you about the different procedure. Then they will collect your insurance information and do all the calling etc and get the information for you concerning requirements and your portion of finances. ....look in your search engine bariatric centers with state location....Good luck. Let me know what happens.

Hello group. Paperwork submitted yesterday. Finished 6 month supervised diet\exercise program. HW 290. SW 280 CW 260 48 yrs 5' 8". Hoping for Dec date by next week.

I did just recheck my policy and you are right. It just said supervised diet exercise program. Nothing about weight loss.

I have BC/BS and had 6 months. To do. However they have so many divisions and policies it can vary

Thank you all. Nerves a tad bit better. Will post as soon as I hear something. Clinic told me 7 to 10 days after paperwork is submited I should hear something. I guess everyone gets a little anxious around this point of the journey. Again thank you.
