I have slept on my side with a small pillow under my belly the past two nights, but During naps and the first few nights I have also used one of those propped pillows you use on the floor for playing video games then surrounded it with pillows on my bed so it is like reclining in my bed. I am craving coffee today, but I don't think I have ant decaf ;( Going to hop on the treadmill for 30 minutes to get that out of the way, then make hubby get us out of the house to get decaf! And get our Christmas shopping completed, we took easy way this year and played the surgery card and told everyone we were giving gift cards or cash, period! We really don't have much to get, thank goodness

I am on clear liquids to until Monday! I bought some protein liquid at pharmacy when I picked up my rx. I poured 2 oz of it in 2oz of water. I also had ordered the unjury chicken broth packets. I can only do half a packet at a time. Hubby and I went to gnc to pick up isopure but they only sold it buy case at the one we stopped at. I didn't feel like going to the other gnc by that point. Non protein drinking the heck out of water, propel grape, and herbal teas! I finally had sf Popsicle last night, and wondered why I waited so long!

Elhudge- mine are super itchy too! Also one if the bandages caused a blister below my left incision- it popped on its own tonight so have been doctoring it as well! I got in 56 0z of liquids today, only 25gr protein though. Chest pain is nearly gone too! I'm so looking forward to some soups next week!

Still taking a nap daily, oh and just yesterday was only able to do 1 oz every 30, then after nap was able to get in 2oz so it is day by day changing. My incisions are itching like crazy! Wishing you well and that you will see you probably are improving daily!

Day 4 post op Today is better than yesterday! Was able to sleep on my side and slept well. Woke up and was able to get in 4 oz in 30 minutes, took my vitamins, walked on treadmill for 35 minutes and about to have my injury chicken broth protein. Ready to get out of the house today. Doing well, can finally take in a little over 2 oz at a time sipping of course, before I stop. Then wait a bit before getting more. I am only up to 30oz but tomorrow is a new day! I still have pain in my upper chest especially when I use spirometer and sometimes just sitting. Wishing my ft worth buddies good luck!!!

Doing same here, would love for the upper chest to stop hurting when I breath in deeply and while using the spirometer. Just finally reached 2 oz liquids at a time.

Are you having to crush your pain meds and drink them? I had to and talk about nasty,

Got up this morning, so they could draw blood... I was sleeping so well from 3-5 but these of the night I awoke every hour and half! I would look at clock and be surprised it had been that long. Finally got some water just now!! Barely a sip and thought I was going to be sick! Will keep plugging away at it and mark my sheet of every fifteen minutes to dry to dot an oz! Hope the others yesterday are doing grand, best of luck to the rest if the weeks sleevers!

Updat! My surgery finally happened at 3, and doctor updated my husband an mom a little before 5. To room by 6, , They had me waking down the hall and back, was feeling a little nausea when I woke up at 8 and gave me some pain meds, just woke again with no pain and no nausea! for and hour and half of sleeping. Still no water, told me 6am.... My mouth is so so dry! Hubby went on home to get some sleep and take care of dogs! Thank you for all your support with this it means a bunch

The waiting oy! Should be back before 11 By now many of my 16th sleever siblings are hopefully well under way! Prayers sent!!! I sure wished I had known it was going to be so late, considering I was asked to be here by 5:30am, who would have guessed! I rested and my hubby is trying his best to rest. My mom came up too, she left a bit ago to let dogs out. I tried to get hubby to go with her since she lives less than 10 mins from here, we live 45 mins from here. To the sleevers the next few days I am sending prayers out since I may not be coherent enough later to try!
