I cooked chicken for chicken and mushroom Soup. I puréed it to tuna consistency in a matter of seconds w food processor on pulse. I set aside 6 oz for chicken salad and the rest went in my soup. Chicken salad- 6 oz chicken puréed to tuna style 1 .5 tbsp mayo or lite ranch 2 tbsp stone ground mustard 1 tbsp pickle 1 green onion chopped finely 1 tsp minced garlic Salt, pepper, and dash of paprika or red peeper This made 3 servings, on my last serving I cut up 1/4 avocado and added, so good!

Hi abrooke! I go to albertsons all the time for groceries! Glad you found us! I went to dr Kim's, 12/16 was my sleeve surgery. I will be attending this Wednesday 1/8 support meeting at the colleyville offices. It starts at 6:30, no appt as far as all the support mtg info states. I hope you can make it and we can meet in person too. I believe shell and bare feet are also trying to attend. Ready to get to the gym 24 hr off western center in a few more weeks to start doing things other than the treadmill at home! I'm open to anyone interested in being workout partners as well

Mine states yes. Caffinated tea and coffee do not count on my notes, nor alcohol of course.

I was not allowed water until Tuesday after not having any since Sunday and it did hurt, and did so until day 3 or four. I'm at day 20 now and my first drink of the morning I feel going down with a little bit uncomfortable feelings. I hope that you are recovering and do get to be discharged. Praying for you still!

Weigh in today and after 12 days no loss happy to see scale moved down 1.8 pounds! HW 231 SW 224 CW 212.2 I've lost 5" in waist alone! Woohoo

I used a strainer, had a small one I bought from dollar store since I was infusing vodka. I also would put a fresh sprig or two in the glass. My best friend actually bought me an infuser from pampered chef, I keep forgetting to use it ????

Yep happened to me at lunch today! First day of purée and was not fun at all! Had chicken tortilla Soup broth with two small slices of avocado and then tbsp of refried Beans and it was horrible how I felt! Made chicken and mushroom soup for dinner puréed AND measured 1/2 cup and was good!

I finally lost 1.8# today after not losing for 12 days! My official weigh-in and measurements will be tomorrow, but I was super happy I saw the loss. On another note: Dr Kim's support mtg is this Wednesday the 8th at 6:30, and it will be about setting goals. Nate Newton is the guest speaker and a patient. I am planning on attending, anyone else like to join?

Last year before sleeve I was infusing vodka with thyme, mixing with part diet ginger ale part white grapefruit, and a little pineapple. I was also doing basil with berries and lemonade I have done berry, lemons and basil with Water and yummy.

CW 214.5 Goal for Valentines 197 sidenote: I haven't been under 200 in 5 years, and my bday will be just a few days after Valentines (17th), so it would be great to get in to Onederland by my bday.

I haven't missed the alcohol at all! I believe we are clear at my dr office at 3 months in moderation. However, I have pretty much decided I would wait at least 6 months, so this summer I may or may not have libations. On a side note, I went to happy hour at least once a week with my friends, I will probably be going periodically, as I have went to the sports bar this past sunday to watch the Cowboys - ugh, but sticking to unsweetened tea actually has been great, and like i said in the beginning, not missing it at all!

WolfeCookie, I live in Plano and was sleeved on Tuesday (Dr. Cribbins) at Plano Presby. It went well & he plans to send me home this morning. I am in North Fort Worth, welcome to the December group! Glad you two are doing well!
