Im 7 days post op and im already down 11 lbs woo hoo! Im enjoying it now cause i know a stall will come a few months down the line.

Thanks to all. Hopefully i wont get a stall but if i do ill be waiting for it. Im holding the urge not to weigh myself daily lol now im doing it every 2 days i want to do that 1 time a week then eventually monthly but its hard lol.

Feeling great. Minimal pain. A little gas pain but finally home! Sipping a premier protein shake and doing extremely well.

Hey guys im on my 1st full day post op and everything is going great except when i have a sip of anything i feel it real bad in my sleeve. It hurts for like 10 seconds then it stops. Its happened with broth sf jello and crystal lite ice tea. Water feels much better but i cant take more than a sip of anything otherwise pain. Yea i know its only been a day but for everyone whos past me. Does this get better? And when? Im going home tomorrow thank god.

How many days did the pain last for you?

Thank you guys for the well wishes i know you all will do great. Yes i was terrified, especially when i got to the OR and thought to myself "wow this is really it, no turning back now" but the anesthesiologist gave me something to relax and told me ill see you in a few minutes and i was out. Didn't feel a thing i think i even had a dream lol. But still doing great. Im off oxygen hopefully ill continue like this.

Hey all im finally sleeved and i muat say ive had an incredible ride here. Ive had a little pain in my incisions so little i havent even had pain medication. Also my surgeon did an incredible job with taking most if not all the gases. I have not felt anything as far as gas pain goes. I honestly except for the little discomfort in my incisions i feel 100% normal. Im hoping it continues. They gave me nothing today by mouth. Tomorrow they do my leak test and then start to zip water. Hopefully by Friday i can go home!

Sorry to hear about your band, i hear its losing alot of popularity. Thats why i chose the sleeve. Let me know how you do. Good luck.

Im scheduled tomorrow 5/7 at 930AM but im so scared to have my surgery aborted due to an enlarged liver like i have heard it happening to so many people. My highest weight was last December 339 and today im 304, have lost 35 lbs since then most of it coming within the past 2 1/2 months . Any suggestions to calm me down? Will i be ok? Anyone have any experiences to share?

Thanks to all for your well wishes. Im just gonna let it be and it is what it is. I have lost 16 lbs on my pre op diet nothing more i can do now lol. Thanks to all.

Guys i just got a call from my surgeon's coordinator and i am approved for surgery. Now its really sinking in. No turning back now and ready for my new life.

Right on man. Glad and relieved to be approved. Wanna get it over with

Thank you im getting sleeved next Wednesday May 7.

13 days until i get sleeved and i made it through day 1 of pre op diet. Wasnt so bad today. 4 protein shakes and a bean soup. No dizziness or hunger actually. Pray for me im so nervous i just wanna wake up and be sleeved already.

Yes i definitely am going through that. What the hell im i doing? Will i ever eat normally again? All of those questions every night i go through it. Especially since its 3 weeks from today and i know it will fly by till May 7.

Not really, just nothing the day prior to surgery and a combination liquid and food diet the 2 weeks before. But im gonna try and do a full liquid diet just to be safe.

I know im crazy but never been knocked out before. I'm so ready" I've been having food funerals! Do you have to do anything before the 2 days! I'm suppose to stop eating breads and potatoes, I've been so bad!

Hey guys im new here i finally got my date and decided to do my 1st post. I got my date of May 7 and now its sinking in that its really going to happen. Im so excited but more nervous. Ive never had any type of surgery before and its freaking me out.
