I think it's not only a wonderful decision but a wonderful opportunity!! And as far as 'cheating', I think the only thing you're cheating is cheating death!! Very frustrating!!! I was submitted on 11/5/2013, and still waiting for a decision!! I've been calling the surgeon's office, and they keep telling me that they answered all their questions, and providied all requested information to Aetna. I call Aetna, and they told me 'we are working on your case as we speak, and will have a decision for you by the end of the day'...I was told the EXACT SAME THING every other day from 11/13 until 12/4, when all of a sudden I'm told my case was 'moved from team 1 to team 2' and they haven't looked at it yet!!! Now according to them, my case is now at the bottom of the pile again!!! My original surgery date WAS 11/21. Trying not to let frustration and discouragement get the best of me, but it's getting more and more difficult!!! I have no idea why I would be denied...I have a BMI of 47, with high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and borderline diabetes...but of course the only thing I can do is wait.

Congrats!!! I wish you the very best in getting to the next goal!!! As for me, my frustration level is soaring...waiting for approval from Aetna!! Original surgery date was 11/21, but of course it's been postponed to...whenever!! Again, congrats!! I'm sure you'll get that next goal in no time!
