    Steri Strips!

I totally ran into the bathroom to double check. No blood, guts or oozing but they're puffed up. I'm mostly worried about the biggest one, it's waterproof thing finally died in the shower and I'm scared those strips are gonna come off now too. Damn showers! Wish my nausea meds worked!
  2. I have major issues with getting anything down, crushed ice works best for me. Otherwise I have to force 3-4 burps for every drink I get. I'm on day 4 post op.
  3. Woohoo! Day 5 of 7 and I feel normal today! (course I slept more than half the day yesterday!) Anybody else getting over that liquid diet slump? Anyone know if it'll keep going this way? Surgery Tuesday!!! BRING IT!

    This diet is very tough

I'm on day 4 of 7 pre-op. I am crazy hungry, super weak and have a cold! It sucks big time but remember, the better you do pre-op the easier your recovery will be post-op! Shrink that liver baby! I go in Tuesday for my surgery!!! I also had headaches, my surgeon said extra strength tylenol was okay since it's not an NSAID. That has been a life saver... and microwavable dinners for my kids! Then I don't have to stand over the stove huffing the aromas like an addict in withdrawl!!! I cheated on Halloween had some bite sized chocolate. Felt TONS better the next morning but it just restarts the whole cycle and keeps you miserable I think. We can do this!
  6. I haven't had my surgery yet (this tuesday) but I had to do a psych eval to get cleared for the hospital. The psychologist said it's normal to go through a grieving process because your relationship with food has changed. It sounds like that is kind of what you're going through. Try figuring out what you need your family and close friends to do to support you and make it easier on you then ask them. They may surprise you! I hope it gets better soon. Good luck!
