Thank you so much guys sorry for the late reply tgis is my second day home from the hospital and I find myself sleepin alot without even knowing that I fell out....I truly appreciate all that was said I will try the gatorade and most of all the pedialite my mom said they give that to kids in the hospital who are dehydrated....I will remember all throught the day to sip my fluids...my discharge paper definitly says sip througout the day.I had some chicken noodle soup broth and that helped.... I was so proud of al the fluids I got in yesterday I thought that was sometging but disnt realize that wasnt enough...I told my mom what all your suggestions were and she said she is gonna pic those things up....also about the shakes its called lean shake from GNC the are lactose free they come in four flavors and those are what I survived off of before on the preop diet and my doc said to continue it as much as you can tolerate...I will be putting up a video on youtube later on tonight about what im drinking when I do ill tag this thread and then you guys can see wht im eating and then you can tell me what you think its definitly to much to post. But thanks again and any other suggestions would be appreciated

I need to go over the instructions paper the doc gave me but I dont remember a specific caloric intake... yesterday all I got in was a cup of water a little Vitamin water and a little lean shake....today I got in a cup of water and now im trying for the cup of protien lean shake im almost done....I called them they said they will give me a call back but havent yet..I guess when the nurse is free but how do u guys drink all throughout the day I tried yesterday and felt like I was gonna explode

I been trying to sleep on my bed it worked last night but it was hard finding a good position...I actually dont have a recliner... but maybe thats a good idea...how has you postop journey been so far??

Keep going guys the preop diet is probably the hardest part...youll be so happy when your finally on the loosers bench

Thank you!!!!im 3days post op and its hard but getting easier by the day I know itll take some getting adjusting to but im happyvi made this decision this is my first night home and im stuggling trying to find a comfortable position to sleep in

So after my sugery sat im still the only one who.has not been discharged I have.not been drinking enough fluids...and its bexoming stressful because drinking it all is hard for me... as I drink the tea the gas comes up but day 2 post op tthey gave me some contrast to drink for an esophogram which the docs say is the cause of my diarreah...I went on myself 4 times last night and atleast 3 times this morning im so annoyedvi just wanna know when its all gonna be over Im beginningn to get buyer remorse...HELP!!!! WHAT YALL THINK???

Hey guys!!! Its finally my morning and I only got 3hrs of sleep last night because my heart felt like a ticking.time bomb!!!! Im happy its here but nervous all at the same time I woyld love to wake up to some jokes to put a smile on my face im sure ill be in alot of pain!Love yall!! Wish me luck

Im out!!!finally on the losers bench incesion pain @ a minimal its just gas its crazy its all in my shoulders...

All I have been doing is sleeping...I feeel ok minimal pain just my incesions at time I cant eat anything until tmro...but am not hungry....just have a sponge to keep my kouth wet

Finally on the loosers bench!!!! I feel a little dizzy...surgeon said my liver was beautiful..I got to see my tummy..just a little tierd so off to sleep I go
