  1. what a difference a day makes. I took some Carafate, which works much better than Prilosec or Prevacid, and that got my stomach to "calm down". then I ate more. now I feel much, much better. so my surgeon's assistant was right; I wasn't eating enough. now I will eat every 2 1/2 hours and drink in between. seems to be a great schedule to follow even after food is introduced back. can't get hungry that way!!
  2. Had the VSG on 10/24. Was doing fine, until today. Woke up with severe reflux. Eating yogurt didn't help. Drinking water made it worse. Spoke to surgeon's assistant, finally, and was told -- ready for this -- I'm not eating enough. First time in my life I've been told that. I've been "eating" Greek yogurt, about 4 teaspoonfuls at a time; drinking protein shakes, about two hours to get down 4 ounces; a little bit of chicken broth; and water. Anyone have any ideas what more I can try to eat at this point. I don't get to introduce food until around Thanksgiving.
