I have pcos too!! I don't have periods even on birth control, so I think I'm looking forward to having periods. As my estrogen are so low. What I'm struggling with is cystic acne and bad hair loss. I'm hoping the sleeve will give me relief.

I live in Edmonton, AB and I am getting sleeved Feb 10/2014. I see everywhere Premier Protein has 30G of Protein shakes that are sold in cases but I cannot find them anywhere, and their sites say US delivery only. Where can I buy cases of ready made high protein shakes in the case? Thank you. -

Did anyone have a famous last meal where they indulged on their favourites before the started the preop diets? If so, what did you indulge in?

I'm 26, Canadian, pcos, 5'6, And 280. I know what you're going through, i've battled this since puberty, and it's not easy at all. When I first told my family and they reacted the same as yours. I told him this was a tool, and not an escape plan. Told them all about all the research, that I understand the positive and the negatives, and how it affected me emotionally, physically and with my self-esteem. After a while they seem to agree with me as long as I had all the facts understood. Keep your chin up

I'm from Alberta and found a surgeon in Quebec, paid the consultation fee for a telephone conference two weeks time. We'll today was the day and he didn't call! Booked time off work for this call to be private. Does this happen a lot? For appointments to be juggle around a lot? I'm a self paying Canadian that wants a sleeve in Canada

I was on depo when I was 19. I had my periods for 9 months straight and gained 60 pounds. I went off of it after my 6th shot because I started getting cystic acne. Went off cold turkey and a few months after my hair started shedding. The shot made my PCOS explode. 5 years later I still can't control the disease so I'm going for the sleeve to see if it will help me
