I started out at 297 when my husband left for Afghanistan.I started taking phentermine and weweight loss shots and it helped i lost 47lbs. Then i plateaued and began to put it back on. That was Jun 2012 thru Jan 2013. In June of 2013 i went to Dr marker and started my journey for sleeve. I didn't want to end up like my aunt 4G years old on her death bed from cancer. They couldn't remove it because of her weight. I have four boys and i do not intend to live like that. 21 days before surgery i started my low carb diet i weight 264. I lost 20lbs. On my surgery date I weighed 244.5. Now I'm 4 months post op and down 27lbs. It's been tough but I have a long way to go.
