Had my surgery around 12 today by the time they started! Everything went really well!! I am having some pain and that gas pain is ridiculous lol but other than that I just been just tired! Haven't moved much today but tomorrow I hear is the big day for that ! Also mouth is extremely dry! Thanks to everyone for the well wishes

Getting all checked in for surgery!! Surgery is at 11AM! The nerves have definitely kicked in!! Can't wait to start my new life!!

Tomorrow is coming quick! Just packed my hospital bag!! Still not too nervous pretty calm actually!! I am just over this clear liquid diet!! Had to drink the isopure clear protein drinks these past two days and definitely not a fan of them! So hungry !! Tomorrow that part will be fixed , thank God!!

I did get a little discouraged today because I weighed myself and I am at the same weight I was on Monday when I saw the Dr. I was just thinking man all this dedication to this diet and it hasn't moved since then... I mean I am at 9 pounds but I thought for sure a little more would have came off. I am supposed to start TOM on surgery day so I am not sure if that has any thing to do with it ..... ughhhh

Glad to hear you are doing Good!! I am sure as the days pass it will get easier and easier for you!! Thank you in advance for the little prayer! I definitely appreciate it! I have never had any surgery so I just have experiences from you guys to go by! The endoscopy was the most I have really had to do medically. Awww your poor little one! I am a preschool teacher so I totally understand sometimes they just need some extra love. My surgeon has given me strict directions to not pick up any kids or anything like that.. so I totally understand

I check in at 9:00 and than surgery is at 11!! it's so true I never really paid attention to the types of commercials till now and it's like it's all food ones ! Lol so frustrating ! How are you doing Jeni ?

Hey all! I go in to surgery Monday feb 17th at 11 AM! This clear liquid diet is a little harder than my 2 week preop diet! It's kicking my butt at the moment! Got out for a little bit And did some shopping. Resting at home now, first thing when I turned my tv on was a restaurant commercial!!! Ughh!! Is it Monday yet ?? Lol

I know me too!! I just picked up everything for my clear liquid diet for this weekend which I am a little nervous about! But not too nervous about the actual surgery yet atleast

I am doing ok on my pre op diet as of Monday I was down 9 pounds hopefully I am down more!! I am on three protein shakes than I get a dinner with lean protein a cup of veggies I/2cup of starch and like a low fat yogurt or string cheese. It's been ok I am just over the diet lol but it will be totally worth it in the end! I have been using the premier chocolate individual protein shakes, they are pretty good! Except I am sure I can taste them in my sleep lol ...

Heyy I am scheduled Monday the 17th at 11AM have to check in at 9:00 at Cedars Sinai in LA! I am a little nervous because I have never had any kind of surgery, but more excited! We should keep in contact through out this process! How's a everyone feeling on their pre op diet??

I had my last appointment with my primary care dr today! Had to do the pregnancy test as well!! My preop class was last Wednesday as well as my pre op visit with my surgeon!! So hard to believe a week from right now I will be officially on the losers bench!!!

Hey everyone !! I can not believe I am two weeks out to my Surgery Date! it's almost surreal! So I am on my liquid diet and wow I hope it gets easier!! I have found it to be a little mental for me , would love to be able to actually chew something I do get one small meal which is like 4 0z of chicken or fish and a cup of veggies buts it's just a little tough in the mean time !! Praying it gets easier! The outcome is 100 percent worth it! So I will keep sipping away

Hey All!! Well I finally reached the insurance authorization ! After doing the endoscopy, psych eval, dietitian, consult with surgeon and lab work! The only thing that kind concerned me is that no one told me my file was sent to insurance verification or that it passed the board of review there at the hospital.. I called today just to check the status of my file of if I needed to do anything else and than that's when I was notified that it's already sent to insurance.. She did mention that it can take 10 to 14 days so I am trying not to keep thinking about it ! Anyone else have Anthem Blue Cross HMO in California ?? If so I would love to hear any feedback! Or just feedback in general!!

Cupofjojo- such a good idea of creating a separate Instagram account! I have kinda looked around with different hashtags relating to the surgery to kind of see different things! I will create one today and add you Arts- I definitely need to start winging my self off of the caffeine like yesterday!!! Lol that is def my goal for this week... As I am drinking my coffee!!! Lol gosh it's gonna be tough but sooo worth it
