I am in Human Resources. Returning to work 2-10. Was sleeved on 2-3.

I am blessed too. Surgery was Monday 5pm. Tuesday was a rough day. Discharged Wednesday. At work Thursday and Friday for a couple hours. Swallowing is good. Following the script. So so blessed. I was very anxious going in to surgery. The stories of complications scared me.

Jls....I had the samp temp and issues. The breathing tube is very key to avoiding pneumonia. I was released Wednesday. Feeling pretty good. Loving the soft jello. Good luck with your recovery.!!!

I was sleeved at 5:30 last night. Scheduled at 1 but a patient ahead of me had a complication. I have had a rough morning. No vomiting but hard to get water down. Broth. Is easier. Doc said my stomach is a little more swollen than most so it is hard to get liquid down. Because my heart rate is low they will keep me another night. Thanks for the prayers. You guys are awesome. Praying for the future sleevers!!

Jus its ok. I was sleeved at 3pm yesterday. Rough night and extremely weak. But slowly feeling a tad better. So weak though. Thanks for the prayers everyone.

Carmen-your train is on the right track. You are doing you and are focused. Don't let the spousal issues derail your progress. You will see him in your rear view mirror running down the tracks trying to catch up with you and your progress. Stay strong!!!

Good luck to all the Feb. Sleevers. Counting down and the days are whizzing by. I had my final weigh in Wednesday. Drum roll. I made my goal weight. Lost 15 pounds since 12/27/13!!!! Originally only had 10 to lose but I had a real good New Years Eve and gained 5 lbs. But now I love my cookies and cream flavored protien shakes. I bought a wok and I live for my 4oz of organic chicken grilled with with spinach and garlic. 5 more days till a new life. Praying for all the Feb. Sleevers. Keep in touch.

Melodic I am being sleeved Monday 2-3-14 also in Fla. (St. Pete) I have gone from extremely nervous to calm and everything in between. I remain prayerful. I will repost Monday when able to give an update.

I am a Feb 3 groupie and after losing 10 pounds pre op I thought " well if I keep eating like this maybe I can do it on my own". On day 1 and 2 of pre op diet I cheated and had some popcorn. Then I bought sugar free popsicles and I am back on track. I should not have read the complications with the sleeve thread. Pretty scary. I am sy ill committed to my 2-3 surgery but I had a dream I told my doctor nevermind. I'm outta here.

I am another one with 2-3 surgery. There are a lot of us. Just finished week one of pre- op diet. At my required surgery weight. My weigh in is Thursday. Praying for everyone. Looking forward to reading the post surgery notes!!!

How long after surgery can you resume Zumba.

My surgery will be on 2-3-14. I must lose 12 pounds by 1-28-14 or they will reschedule my surgery. My scale is barely moving. Started the Wild Rose detox kit today. Dr. Oz recommended it. Feeling the pressure!!
