    Tips For Protein Intake

    Thanks a bunch everyone. Will have to get some unflavored to try in my cottage cheese!
  4. Hi! I was sleeved 10/14. Start weight was 325 and I am now 295. First week and a half I had lots if energy but now I just want to lay in bed abs sleep. I can't seem to eat enough to get my protein in. I am way way short on it and I know (at least I've read) that low protein can lead to fatigue and other serious problems. At about the week 1/2 mark food smells started making me nauseated and the taste of all the different liquids started tasting bad. Now that I am getting close to soft foods the thought almost makes me sick. Any tips on things that might be good to try to get my protein in? I can tolerate the Atkins drink if I add a banana, some milk and whey protein but not enough to get in my 60-65 grams I need! I appreciate any and all help, suggestions and tips!
  5. I had surgery 10/14. Am down 32 lbs. but having a hard time getting my protein in. I start to eat and get full in a really small amount. I have to literally force myself to eat. Thinking I am about yo hit a big stall due to lack if protein not to mention more problems that causes. Started at 325 and am at 293 now.
  6. I will have to try the Quest bars. Atkins Peanut Butter Fudge Crunch Bar (Day Break) is not bad. It is 150 cal, Sugar Alchol 5%, Sugar 1g, Protein 10g and total net carbs 2
