Sorry I am so late in posting this. I didn't get home from movie night till almost 1 am. Christine is sooooo sweet! We had a blast! I was the only one who came to movie night that was a bandster but her son invited friends over and the neighbors came out and joined us. We did have the police show up, 4 patrol cars, to be exact. But not for us...LOL!!! You guys missed a great time!!!

Even though I am losing weight, trying to eat right, ok, not eating too much but doing protein shakes, I feel down. It is not that I am mouring the foods I no longer eat, but I can't sleep and when I do then I wake up late for work. Even with 4 alarm clocks. Things that I used to care alot about I really don't give a crap anymore. I have been getting disconnect notices from like my cell phone...the problem is that I have the money to pay it, I just don't. I normally have a very clean car. Mom got into my car on Sunday and asked what happened. It was trashed inside. It took all that I had to clean my car on Sunday. I am on anti-depressants, but I don't want to eat, sleep, work, or really do anything. I am divorced and live with mom to help her out, she is disabled. I just signed up on match.com sunday night and have 4 guys that want to meet me. You think I would be flying on top of the world, but I am not. My co-workers said I looked very rough today...LOL! Gee thanks guys! I am going to get my haircut at lunch to try to perk me up....is anyone else having anything like this going on?

I went for my second fill yesterday. What a disaster! My port has flipped backwards. They tried everything to flip it back, used huge needles as chopsticks, pushed against my ribs to try to get it to flip, everything. Now I am scheduled for surgery on June 14th to re-open up the port area and re-suture it to the muscle. I did find out that I have a 10cc band not the 4cc band I originally thought. so that makes sence that I have little restriction and no weight loss since I have only 0.8cc in the band right now. I haven't been able to work out much with a crazier than normal work schedule and I have pulled a muscle in my left hip and have alot of pain in it to sit, stand or even lay down. I have signed up with 24 Hour Fitness. I will start working out with fellow bandster Bevlynn when she gets back from Costa Rica. I hope my hip is better. I think I hurt it moving furniture for my mom. Oh well, just had to vent...how is everyone else doing?

I PB all the time, actually 3 times last night. It's only cause I eat too fast. Old habits are hard to break! However, I am going to put a ziplock and paper towels in my car today!

Pat, Do you wear all colors? I have a bunch of different colors. Pants and tops are all 2x. you can have them all if you want. Donna, You are in luck, I have one pair of Navy scrubs...they are yours... If you both will Private message me your addresses I will gladly mail them to you....I might included some other clothes, tops or pants as an extra bonus. I am serious I have a spare bedroom and the twin bed is FULL of clothes...LOL

Like eveyone else here I am sitting here at work with tears streaming. I too am a BIG animal lover. I had to put my "son" Hans Der Wienderschnitzel (dachshund) to sleep April 15th this year. He was almost 17 years old. I got him when he was 3 months old. So I feel your pain more than you will ever know. I still have two cats and three birds. As hard as it is to say and accept, you gave him back his dignity. He loved you so much that he would not have wanted to be a burden to you in anyway. It is never easy to put an animal down but it was the best thing you could have done for him. He isn't suffering anymore. If I can figure out how to add a link I will add one to the Rainbow Bridge. Thanks all for the advice! I appreciate each and every one of you. I will have them draw blood here at my office tommorow morning. My mom is concerend too. In fact she made me dinner, oatmeal with extra vitamins in it, skim milk before hand, then sent me to bed at 9 pm. ME! I am 40 years old and was sent to bed last night by my mommy...LMAO!!!! Of course, I couldn't sleep until some time after 1:20 am this morning. I had a Starbucks Frappachino light Affogato for breakfast and baked fish and a green bean for lunch...I have enough left overs from my Luann Platter at Luby's to eat the next 4 days. I hardly ate anything, but I did eat protein.....

I work for a dermatologist. You can use Neosporin if you feel you need to. If you cannot use Neosporin there is some great stuff out there called Aquaphor. It is the consistency of Vaseline but heals well. Also good to have this on hand (like I do) for paper cuts and minor burns. We swear by the stuff at my office. I, however, put nothing on my incision site and really don't even use any Mederma. Ok, I used the kid's Mederma twice cause it smelled like grapes and is purple going on....I wanted to play!!! But really, I have really dry skin naturally and have discovered something called Kiss My Face. It is a bar of soap sold at places like Whole Foods. It is a bar of soap made out of Olive Oil. I don't use it on my face but it does add alot of moisture at the end of my shower. Runs about $2 a bar

ok....not boasting here, but I am having the opposite problem. I am living off Starbucks and cigs. OK...tried tuna fish tonight and actually have kept it down. Everything comes up. So I stick with water and Starbucks. Meatloaf? Grilled fish? Spagetti? All of it....PB'd. I haven't been doing my shakes but have lost about 20 pounds in the past month and have a heck of a cold and upper respiratory infection now. Need some Mothering here!!

Pamela, My Lapband surgery was my first surgery EVER! It was done on a Thursday and I was home by 2 pm. I slept for the rest of the day. The next couple of days I was hurting slightly. I am allergic to Codeine so Dr. B gave me Toradol. Pretty good stuff. The most painful area was at the port site. It is attached to muscle and will be sore for a few weeks. Heck, it still bothers me if I wear jeans that are slightly too tight. I was back at work on Monday. I still hurt alot but made it through. I carried a little pillow in my car to hold against the port when going over speed bumps. Yeah, I drive like a bat out of hell. After that Monday, I was pretty good. Good luck!!
