I am so not motivated. Bad habits are creeping up and I just can't control myself. If I can get away with it, I will.

@BladeFox, I know just what you mean!!! I think that is the reason why I am not loosing as much as I had in the past cause I am getting comfortable and I am finding a few things that I probably shouldn't be eating that I can eat. Like the one thing that I am doing and I know i will get sick of it soon, but the kettle popcorn that you put in the microwave and pop it, OMG when it's warm it's so good? lol but it's like the only carb like Item I can eat? I just know the sugar they use to make it is no good for me?

We're about the same distance out from surgery (I was June 7) and I know I'm just starting to feel that little creep back of bad habits, too. Grabbing a bite of something as I walk by, grazing. This week, I've tried to go back to some of the basics... doing the shakes, almost no carbs, no grazing. I think it's good you're recognizing the habits coming back, but you're wrong -- you CAN control it! You're in a different place now than pre-surgery. Focus on feelings of hunger. Do what you know you are supposed to do. You can DO this!

Thank you all for your wonderful words of encouragement and wisdom. I'm able to eat more foods that I couldn't eat in the past and although I am not gaining weight, I am not where I was with restriction. PLUS we have this office assistant that brings in candy by the trunk load and everyone is telling her to stop to no avail. I think I'm gonna go buy some new gym clothes - that fit, and see if that doesn't motivate me a bit. Then just say no to the chocolate candy.
