I hear you there. I only took off wed - fri. my surgery is wednesday and then I have the weekend? I am hoping that will be enough??? I suppose that if I still am not feeling good, I can take more time, but I was hoping to save as much as I can for the summer? I work in construction, but I don't go out to the job sites much, I work at a desk so hopefully I won't hurt myself!!!

Pupichupi, I am using FMLA for my leave time so it doesn't bite into my vacation time. If you have a lot of sick time left, which I do, you should do that first instead of using your vacation time.

I have heard of FMLA but what is it??? I don't know if we have that here? I would love to be able to take more time off????
