We r in the same boat April! Same insurance down to the same hoops.. I do not have sleep apnea tho. I just the nut today and waiting on the final approvals. Dont ya just love this waiting game. . It sucks! Lol

I am so glad this was started! I was asking my NUT this question today. Of course she wants me to work out but I didnt realize how if helped with recovery. I will def start back up! I am pre op still waiting on a date. Have cut out caffeine and carbonation. Trying to eat smaller portions... getting my mind ready, or trying to at least

I feel ya! I met the NUT today and wont see her again till pre op. I hate the waiting game! She has to submit her report to doc and ins. Then they approve or deny... I have been approved for some time now just the final yes or no! Then a date!! I can not wait! I told my parents, my boss, my son and my bestie. I am also trying to cut down on the food amounts and I'm going to the gym. Gotta get a plan down for post op. Yippeeee

So I dont hve a date yet, getting close. Doing research still and I hear about the horrible gas pains. So.. I must know, is it gas or do u poop and have relief for a bit? Is it ongoing like u wanna die? Or is it like spasms and contractions? I heard 1 girl say she used a firm smll pillow to rest her incisions on. Wondering if that would while u tried to use the bathroom.. Please, any feedback is much appreciated thank u

I just finished with my phyc eval.. next step is to hear from the nutritionist. I don't have a date yet but hoping for January! My bday is 1-1 so it would be a great month!

You guys give me such good advice! I am glad I found this place before my journey! I am set for my first consult with the doc on the 11th of November. I am hoping this will be a quick journey. . . I hate the food addiction! Its worse than beong hooked on meth (which I was) that was very easy compared to food! Good luck everyone.. keep up the postings too!
