Thank you. Have u ever experienced anything like this?

Lumpy. I feel ya. Even tho I am onlu a week out. I have no changes and still feel as though I have my full stomach still. I have not stepped on the scale for fear of a higher number. (2 day out I weighed 7 lbs more than surgery day) water weight I know. O just can't do it yet. I have only been wearing sweats and yoga pants so cant tell a difference plus with no bra for a week (im still way sore) I cant tell if my too is smaller either. Prob to soon. when did u guys start noticing a difference? Congraysr on all the success! !

I am 7 days out and dont feel like I even had surgery. That part was the easiest! It is truely more difficult to change ur relationship with food. Today I wanted a sandwich. I think it was just head hunger but I was actually hungry for it. Lol I still have the fear that they really didnt take my stomach out, that I will always be the fat girl with a pretty face. Address what you r afraid of. Write it down and talk to your doc about it. Talk to your team. That is what they r there for honey!

When did u guys get hungry after surgery? I am 7 days out and feel hunger pains. Is that normal? I also haventbhad a bm yet. Normal? Thanks for the insight!

Our local LB had bigger women working there and ita wonderful! I dont like that they use normal models but I love the fact that I can shop in a store where the cashier wears the stores clothes and has an opinion on whats great and whats not. Just my input lol

Tonights episode was a bit weird. Im glad she actually faught for her freedom. She was walkin and doing great! The husband.. why does he not have a job? Did anyone else notice that in the middle of the episode they got a new truck? Where did that money come from? Shoot, sign me up.. follow me around, pay for all my procedures and give me extra money to throw away.. lol

I had my normal period first of January then again 2 days before surgery (jan 27th) thank God it was done before surgery! Won't know anything more until next month.

It is her home. I do respect that, never thought of it but thinking about it, I do respect that. I never thought of it as taking sides. Thank you. What bothers me most is when she opens her home to us and then expects to be the mother of us both. I dont think that is right. My son has a mother. She contradicts almost everything I say and it is always a fight. It makes my heart hurt.

Im only 4 days oit but having the same pain u describe. Doc said the same thing. Its probably gas and also said to take some milk of mag. Good luck with ur pain honey!

4 days post op and im not really missing any food items. Im still to sore to even think about food. I am good with my baby food for now. Good luck everyone and congrats on making it work for you!! I can not believe this is really real! Yau

So here I am on the loosing side only, I feel as though I may be doing something wrong. I am still on a whole heck of alot of pain. 2 different pains are the worse. Chest, heaviness maybe. It feels like something is just sitting there. I cant get a deep breath. Then the other vad one is on the left side kinda deep. I cant stand up straight sometimes I have to hold my tummy. I heard the chest was gas.. should i still have gas? What works? And the left side, is it normal to still have this much pain? I went 14 hrs today without pain meds (yes way to long) I wanted to see if they made a difference (they do lol) So ok, what have u done for this pain to go away? Will it be with me forever? What r u eating or what did u eat on full liquids? Not really hungry bit I dont want to do myself harm either. Im sticking to babyfood alot. Not so bad really. Thanks in advance for your advice! My son is not "DEFIANT" more just a normal 13 yr old boy who is confused about alot of things. He is very sensitive and I did apologize today because I felt she was to harsh i also told her this. I wasnt trying to excuse anyones behavior. I was simply trying to sooth the situation. My mom is wonderful, she is great helper. I wouldn't know what to do without her. Just sometimes I need to vent because 2 ppl that I love consistently fighting makes me crazy. Thank u for listening

U might for a split second, regret it I mean. I did but then I just keep remembering that we take one moment at a time and it gets better! This forum has been a total help! Soke up all the info

4 days out here and I went through yhe same exact thing! I was worried if I was doing the right thing. After months of researching I knew that I had made the right choice! The ladies at the hospital were so awesome!! I was discharged friday and was readmitted Saturday morning for dehydration and horrible migraine! Got everything figured out and was sent home today. So I am finally home after a 2 hour drive.. just in time to watch the game! Just prepare your house with full liquids and make sure u get all ur meds figured out (what can be crushed and what can't) I have loaded up on stage 1 babyfoods and cream of blah soups and lots of water! Good luck

I am scared also. I am now 2 days out and I am afraid that I may be stretching it back out. I am thirsty so I drink water. When I need something else I "sip" on baby food 1st stage bananas. Yum! I don't want to have gone through this and find that I lived my worst nightmare.. stretching it out. I am fresh out of the hospital. Staying in a hotel tonight with my Mom. Walking and sipping walking and sipping. I dont feel anything but pain in my tummy. Is that normal?

I was sleeved Wednesday and other than the stomach pain, I am also having hunger pains. I dont know what to say tho. Cuz I am really not hungry, I take a bite of my baby bananas and its like.. um no more! Was discharged about 2 hours ago. My mom got us a suite for the night then we will be traveling back home tomorrow. I tried to lay in the bad but that was painful. I am sitting in a big chair now and thats comfortable. Well I gotta take more meds now. The pain is so stupid! I hate this

Wow! I still cant believe its done. My stomach is hella sore so I know something was done! Haven't been able to cough or pass gas yet. My oxygen level is very low so they r having to watch me. So is my bp. Happy to be up and walking around tho! Wondering if its normal to be this tired tho! I am so tired!

Waiting in the pre op room then off to surgery! IVs are all hooked up! This is where I am contemplating... but I have done my research and I want this new start! I want to be healthy! Wish me luck guys! I am going to be a POST opper.. on the losing side!

So u were sleeved Monday? How is your pain level? I am not really worried about the surgery but the gas pain after is a bit scary! My Mom is driving me up to Spokane as we speak. I am so lucky to have such a great loving family! Thank you to everyone who has wished me luck! Im a ball of nerves! Lol

I really dont know what to call today. I into the 24 hr countdown. 24 hours from right now I will 3 hours away from my son and heading into start surgery. What am I feeling? Um.. like tgis is not real. Like tomorrow is not going to come. Nervous, maybe.. I will be leaving a part of myself there at the hospital. Dont get me wrong.. I dont want it back but its just weird leaving a part of you somewhere, forever. I am also beyond excited! Excited to start this new journey to see a healthier me, to be able to keep up with my son! Moat of all I am excited to climb to the top of Badger Mountain and not want to fling myself off the side of mountain just to get down! Lol Anyone else going in tomorrow?

I am now 24 hours away from surgery. I am so excited! This liquid diet is killin me tho! I have clear liquids today. Woke up with a killer headache today and tired! Cant wait to get this sleeve and get back into a routine! I am in WA state using Rockwood. . Anyone else? Who is being sleeved this week? What r u bringing to the hospital? I have my charger and an extension cord, earplugs, slippers, my pillow and blanket, and some comfy clothes.. what am I missing? Oh and my toothbrush! Lol

Oh ya! Thank you! Packed the chapstick and the earplugs lol. I feel bad packing so much cus my disabled mom is taking me. She is wonderful but can not lift much either. We will see. Thank you.
