Oct 24th here... Im down 20 ibs from pre op now for a total loss of 40 since I started my journey. Im finding protein shakes are making me sick now and I smell everything so clear that I almost get sick from it. All in all I'm well and feel great. I'm getting my waist back ( it's small but it's starting to show ) -
Went through halloween with not 1 piece of candy! First EVER!

Me too. To be honesty I got pregnancy smell instincts and chocolate does not fit well... Lol. -

You look awesome!! Keeping my fingers crossed I can do the same. I lost 32 pre op and 12 since my surgery. I'm on day 5 post op

Is it normal to be 4 days post op and be hungry. I charted my protein and water intake ( on the full liquid diet) and I did not consume all my protein and water needed... Could this be why I was hungry.. In fact I even wanted something sweet at night which did not happen post op so I had a sugar free Popsicle.

I had a visiting nurse and she said it is normal and getting in all my protein will help so here's to pushing to my 48 grams then moving on to 60 -

Mine was taken out before I woke up. I just had like a sore throat for a little but then it went away. -
Today marks my 1 day post op. Surgery and the first night sucked majorly but day 1 is not that bad.

Started my journey at 319 plus pounds in July 2013. My surgery is scheduled for oct 24th. I'm go excited but I wanted to know as far as belly weight goes does any females who have a large lower belly or had did you have a lot of extra skin. I was in a size 26-28 pants

My primary told me to wait until 2 weeks before my surgery dat to get my blood work done. I got it done on the 11of oct and m'y surfer is on the 24th -

I told people the truth. I go in for mine next Thursday and I am psyched. Losing almost 25 ibs on my own plus the surgery don't be ashamed !! Tell them. Let them think what they want because in the end it's your health not theirs!!
